She shakes all the time. This is so unlike her. She's is usually playful and a great watch dog but something in the house scared her and I have no idea what it was. She doesn't eat much and just tries to get in corners and hides. I don't know what to do for her and I feel so bad. It came on suddenly and I can't imagine what it was that scared her. No one hit her and there were no loud noises or anything like that. Anyone have any idea of what I can do to snap her out of this? I give her love and try to play with her but she wants no part of it. I'm at a loss as to how to help her. Any ideas would be so appreciated.

since we moved, he will not go on his pad any longer. Lately he is going on the carpet even though I let him out twice when I get up and then walk him twice before I leave for work. How do I retrain him to go on his pad. I used to have it in the bathroom, but this one is too small so I moved it into my bedroom!

I walk him twice at night before I go to sleep and we pees in the middle of the night now.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Why do people get pets they can't afford? I read questions all the time from people who can't afford to take their pets to the vet. Don't they understand that when you get a pet it is a living creature and will need care? Don't they know that it's illegal in some places not to provide care for a pet? Geez!

Could anyone please tell me what could be wrong with my tom cat? He use to be a big cat, not fat, but a lot bigger than he is now. He is just like skin & bones... He acts ok though.... Any answers will be great... Afraid to take him to the vet - afraid they will tell me I need to put him down & he seems ok, just too skinny!!

My 14 week old Chihuahua has developed a very inflammed rash on the inside of both of her ears, and also behind them. One minute they are not so inflammed and the next, they are extremely inflammed and very itchy.I spoke to my vet, and instead of telling me to bring her in for an exam, he told me to put Benadyl Cream on them and that should help. I was also told that Emu Oil should also help with the itch, and the soreness. What are your views on Emu Oil? I am not happy with my vets advice, and I need to find a different one! In the meantime, I feel so sorry for my baby, that I need something that will help with her itching and discomfort that would be effective. What can I use that would be safe, if after it's put on, and she scratches her ear and licks her paw, or if one of my other Chihuahuas licks it off while grooming her. Any advice would be so greatly appreciated! Thank You!!! Serious Answers Only Please!!!

Before I start, I am a meat eater, my question is how can drivers of HGV's visit farms knowing they are picking cow's sheep, pigs to there final destination, I am a HGV driver , and often see the heads of the animals looking out of the trucks with there eyes looking sorry for themselves but not knowing what is ahead of them, although they know what is about to happen the minute they arrive at the slaughter house....

So what does the driver feel ? I couldn't do it, could you ????...
Maybe I am to soft, or is it I have a heart, or am I been 2 faced, especially after eating a bacon sandwich......

I am looking for a breed of cat with the following characteristics: 1. lap cat; 2.) loves to be held/carried 3.) likes to get under the covers 4.) loves cuddling/petting 5.) is trainable and loyal like a dog 6.) is laid-back and doesn't mind my noisy and not-really-a-cat-person fiance 7.) doesn't need a lot of grooming. I searched similar Yahoo! Q&A's as well as the CFA profiles and found that Burmese, Ragdoll, Main Coon, and American Bobtail seem most to match these criteria. I would get a kitten in order to help mold his personality (yes, I woud get a male - more affectionate that females). In YOUR experience with cats, what would you suggest?

My Son's Black Labrador (1 Yr old) is not only gun shy but extremely timid about everything. I have tried hunting her next to my Lab, but she still will cower and run when a gun is fired. She is being raised with a small yorkie that is very timid also. Any suggestions? Proffessional trainer , Perhaps?
