My cat was in a terrible catfight this summer and his vet bill ended up being about $600.00. Needless to say, he's a lover, not a fighter. Since then I have kept him inside. Obviously I can't afford for this to happen again and I see the other cat on a pretty regular basis. I don't let my cat out and he meows continuously. Outside of hollering at him or shooing him away from me, what can make him stop??

i have a cat who is all-of-a-sudden eating more and throwing most of it back up....this is now a daily thing. we have tried switching her food and it stopped for a while but it started back again. she is solid white with blue-ish green eyes, and long hair. not sure what breed, she was a stray.

any idea of what it could be....is it serious?

1.) I've read that tap water sometimes isn't good for fish. I have my betta fish in a bowl of tap water but I use betta conditioner drops that I drop in the water to "make it safe". Should I keep it in tap watter or use bottled water?

2.) I go away every other weekend and am not here to feed it. How bad would it be if my betta went from friday morning to a sunday night without getting fed?

3.) I bought the betta in a really small container and the person at the store said it would be fine to keep it in that. I thought that it was to small and wanted to roam around a little bit so I put it in a bigger fish bowl. (it's actually a vase that is shaped perfectly for a fish) but for the holidays I wanted to use the vase and maybe use it permanently, is it true the betta is supposed to be in small areas like the little container I got it in, or would it be better to have it have more space?

My dog had breat (mammory gland ) cancer & after her last operation the vet said that the cancer is aggressive & would come back. For the past couple of days, my dog hasnt been able to walk properly. It's like she is drunk when trying to walk, sluggish & starts to swerve. Like she has no strength in her legs. What is wrong with her & what should I do. Do you think I should take her to vets & put her out of her misery, or leave it a couple of day & see how she gets on ?!?!

I have a nine week old American Bulldog that bites all the time. My husband and I have calmed him down a little but when he gets around my son he seems to really tear in to him. He can't even walk accross the room without the dog attacking his legs. We want this to stop before he gets any bigger and can cause harm to anyone.

I have a Persian that doesn't go out ever because my last cat, a normal and timid (with people) cat disappeared just over a year ago. I was heartbroken and got my Persian several months ago. My domestic cat turned up yesterday... he is in good condition although was very hungry and in need of my affection, also wanting to come into my home again. I've done all I can to ensure his comfort and needs, but am afraid to allow him in because of my persian.... who is a real baby in case he attacks my persian..... he did fight other cats prior to going missing..... I feel loyal to them both and so sorry for my domestic, I'm giving him all the love I can in my porch, but I feel I'm not looking after as I should and that it's not good enough. I must add that he's always had a wildish streak, but is so affectionate with me...

Has anyone else with cats experienced this senario? Could I introduce them and them get on? Or should I keep them apart at my domestic cat's expense??? Help!!!!
