Anyone with a hamster,if you got your cage from PetSmart or Petco,which cage did you get and does it work well

I had a hamster but he died duuring the summer from heat stroke i got my cage from Petco. Be sure to become a Petco "P.A.L." great savings. What kind of hamster do you have or are getting that depends on what kind of cage but I had a Male Teddy Bear Hamster I Got him a Blue cage called Coast Cages. It worked Exelent!!! But be carefull with some cages some cages don't have metal that goes inside the plastic bottom so the hamster could chew right threw it so be carefull to get a cage that has metal that goes down into the plastic bottom.. Also do not buy one of those boxes that have every thing allready in them there a rip off. and not high quality..

I got 5 of my hamsters from Petco and 3 from Petsmart. You could try getting a glass aquarium and putting a mesh lid over it. Try to get a plastic wheel (metal break their legs)

If the wheel gets annoying try taking it off the cage and put Vaseline were it/the wheel attaches then slide the wheel over the Vaselined spot

Firstly, don't put your hamster in a tank, they don't allow sufficient air into them. This will make it hard for them to breathe and also keep in the smell of amonia which could be very harmful to them I sugest a wire cage witha metal bottom. They need suffient room to run around, they are extremly active animals when they are awake. They even have starter kit cages that come with a water bottle, food and bedding. The cages with all the fancy tubes are nice, but i reccomend that you get a wire cage and then you can attach tubes and smaller plastic cages to it by cutting out sections of wire.

i got my cage at petco. i got the 2story my first hamster cage. j.j loves it lol but if u go with that buy her/him a different wheel. i payed 9 bucks for a good quit wheel now i cant get her off the darn thing for her ball enclosed are the links of what i got for my hamster
