He is very affectionate, slept with me the whole night 'cept to wake me so I could take him to the litter, and when I got home today came right to me, now sleeping on my lap. I know the change in his life can affect his eating and behavior, but its almost been 24 hours, and no sign of him eating or drinking. I have milk (specially for cats/kittens) organic dry kitten food, some mushy kitten food, and some water as well out for him, but no sign of him touching any of it. Any advice?

My cat (male, neutered) has recently peed on some of our furniture, and it was pink. we took him the the vet and he said that sometimes male cats may have crystals in their urine (kind of like a kidney stone i'm assuming). what would cause this and how can i make him better? and will he stop peeing on things after it goes away? and yes, we do treat anything he pees on with special treatments for cat urine.

I have this fascination with birds. I noticed that they talk to eachother and sometimes at the same time in groups. They must be able communicate on a level that is more profound then we humans assume. They must do more then simply eat seeds all day and poop on you when you walk under them on the street. My question is, do they all have roles that they play in their bird community?

My Jack Russell has a really bad underbite where a few of his teeth on his bottem jaw completely stick out. I don't know whyit does that, we never played or pulled roughly with his toys. But now one tooth appears to be loose. He is about 5 years old. What should we do about that tooth, I'm afraid that it might start hurting him when he eats or plays. Can you remove dog teeth?

Okay, so two weeks ago I got a puppy from my sister's friends family. They raise cockapoos. Well, the puppy I bought was never really healthy, and a week after getting him he was diagnosed with parvo. According to the vet the incubation period is 10-14 days so he must've contracted it from the other family. Well, since Duke passed away from the disease they've offered to give another puppy a 3rd vaccination, wait a few days to get the vaccination going, and let us take the new one home. I've bleached everything in the house, tiles, carpet, and even sprayed the lawn with bleach to kill the virus. With the new puppy being vaccinated 3 itmes, is it safe to get a new one? My husband and I are so sad about the other one and think that a new puppy will help the greiving process by giving us something else to love on. We've wanted a puppy so long! What do you think?
