I Know this sounds fishy......... yes Fish sleep, so do crabs, octopus, shrimp and muscles. Most breeds don't have eyelids and they don't often snore. (I could swear my green dojo does though)
To be more direct and scientific.
All breeds of fish to include sharks shut their bodies down to rest or "sleep" though some species of shark like the mako blue and great white keep moving so they may still breath the other activities are halted ie. hunting.

Yes, they sleep.
Most all fish spend time in an energy-saving state that can be called
"rest", and we might even call their behavior "sleep", though it is probably
different than "sleep" in most land
animals. Many fish, like Bass and perch, rest on or under logs at
night. Coral reef fish active in the day, hide and rest in crevices
and cracks in the reef to avoid being eaten at night.
The resting behavior of fish is very different from their behavior the
rest of the day. Many minnows, for example, which are very active in
schools during the day, scatter and remain motionless in shallow
water at night. Many fish "rest" or "sleep" during the day and are
active at night instead, but almost all fish sleep.
There are some animals that never stop swimming, like many species of
shark, however, they HAVE to keep moving to push water through their mouths
in order to breathe, and they may still sleep while moving,
we just don't know yet.

almost all living things sleep to re-gaine their energy.
fishes also sleep but in other ways not like humans
they sleep while their eyes is open.
you can normally notice a gold fish on a tank at the bottom part of it because it's resting. on other animals like some types of money they sleep while hanging on the tree..........

They sleep. If you wake up in the middle of the night one night go to your fish tank. If you see your fish still in one spot and its not swimming its kind of floating like its dead but its not floating to the top or anything. Its hard to explain but they do sleep.

The fish in my outdoor garden pond kind of hibernate in mid water. Suspend there motionless. I guess they're sleeping.

they dont have eye lids but they do sleep by going to the bottom of the tank or something depending on the species of fish and they should be inactive. which means they are resting

I think they do, but since my 15 month old daughter likes to bang on the tank I think she has terrorized them and they are scared to sleep :(
I moved the tank last night and now have it in my kitchen on the counter (I have a huge kitchen) and it provides a great night light
