What is the minimum size terrarium I can house a beardie in without it being a risk to it's health/happiness? Also what would a terrarium this size cost me?

If you want to get a good one it could cost a few dollars, but it'll be worth it since your in to that sort of thing. I would get the middle one at the very least, because that will work out for you and the beardie the best. Petsmart is the best place to get one the size you need.....I would try Walmart first, though......Have fun!

For a baby dragon, the smallest size should be a 20 gallon so that you can have a gradient temp range from the basking point of 95-105F to the cooler end around 80F.

For an adult the enclosure should be at least their length in the width of the enclosure and 3 times the length of the tank. So an 18 inch dragon should have at least 18 x 36 inches (this is the minimum). That is a 40 gallon long which you can find in a pet store for $100 or buy at a show for $50 (or order and the supplier will deliver it to you on the way to a show in your area.) http://www.glasscages.com/ I think the ideal size for one dragon is 65 gallon ( 48 x 18 x 17)

You should add at least 2 square ft for any additional dragon, but bear in mind, most do not get aloing sharing enclosures and in some circumstance can be very dangerous

for tiny babies, AT LEAST a 10 gallon. that gives them lost of room to run. you should get something the size of a 50 gallon or more (the more the better) for adults. they like to climb. unfortunately, cages are really spendy. around... at least 100 for a medum one? look around in garage sales, and all those deal places. just make sure they are in good condition.
