I have a pug and she gets these snortting spells. She snorts like for 5 minutes straight. I don't know if she gets too hot or too cold is when this happends? I asked the vet and she said that it's because pugs have a little nose. She said it's kinda like a reverse sneeze. What the heck causes this though?

She has got this really bad coffing problome. The vet. gave her somemeds. but they dont help. It sounds like shese hacking up a hareball, but she never does. I really don't know what I should do. Enny sugestions?

there's this cat that wanders into our property a lot, but i know that he is owned by some neighbors down the street. anyways he approached me today for the first time, being very friendly and wrapping his tail around my leg, purring. i bent down to pet him and he immediately jumped in my lap. after a few minutes of petting him he suddenly turned around, bit my wrist (no not hard, he didn't draw blood) hissed at me and wandered off. My best guess is that i hit a sensitive spot accidentaly, but any other ideas to this contradictory behavior?

My neighbour has chickens, 4 in total. They all are female and lay their eggs early in the morning. The noise they make trying to push the damn egg out keeps me awake in the morning when I need my sleep after a late night. Is there a law about keeping chickens in a residential back garden? Can I serve an ASBO on them or the owners?

Please tell me if it is ok to have my 2 kittens have surgery the same day, they are always together. Just for the purpose of recovery. How do I prevent infections, or is there even a risk? How will they be after they come home? Do we have to do anything special for them when they come back home? Will recovery be long? Will they be really "needy" because of pain and/or confusion? And finally, will their personalities change from the neutering right away? Do we have to do anything special with the litter?

Sorry, these kitties are like my kids, my first "real" pets besides goldfish. I just want to be prepared in this whole procedure.
