Snails began appearing in my fish tank, apparently coming from the gravel. Now they seem to reproduce themselves. I am not feeding them anything but they continue to live and multiply. I wonder how they sustain their existence. And what's their life span on the average?

My little Lasa has arthritis. Can I crush up aspirin in her food? Will it hurt her or help her with the pain? Please be honest. I don't want to do anything to make it worse for her.

I would prefer serious answers. I am perfectly able to come up with hundreds of highly brutal and disgusting ways of killing him but my seven year old daughter would not accept that. So, how do I stop his behavior? I've tried a water hose while he's evicerating his catches but that does not seem to be helping. Again, cute and original ways of executing him are not acceptable.

The kittens are about 4 weeks old. We had them in a big box with towls in a back room, but momma kept moving them to another part of the room, so now they are wandering all over the place. The problem is THEY STINK!!!! I cant seem to do anything about the smell and it is causing my house to smell bad. I am also pregnant and I am very sensitive to the cat odor and its making me sick. I have never had kittens in the home before so is it common for them to smell so bad? How do you get the smell out? I CANT STAND IT!!!! As horrible as this may sound, but im thinking about taking them all to the pound because I cant deal with it anymore, and I dont want to do that so im desprete. We change the litter box, I keep mopping back there, but nothing seems to work. Now it smells like pine sole and smelly cat. Someone please tell me how to get rid of the smell????!!!!!!

you dont know for sure if she has worms? I keep hearing that most kittens have them and need to be dewormed. So should I just buy some and give it to her? Will it harm her if she doesn't have worms? She has a swollen belly, but no possible way for her to be pregnant (She's in the house all the time, and i got her really young from someone who kept her in a cage all the time with her mother)

He is otherwise healthy and isn't losing weight. He also doesn't have worms. Sometimes I think it's linked to him having a poo but It's not related all the time. Can cats have bulimia type symptoms? Is there any way I can train him to puke in one place?

Ok I have a Polish Chocolate Buck who is 6m old and I have had him for 5 days. He came from a freind that is a breeder. They kept him with ther other bunnys in there barn so they only seen him for abit during the days and when he was at shows. I keep him and my other bunny (1y broken black doe his mom side by side cages) in my house so I see them alot all day long. Well my Chocolate the day I brought him come just fell over like 8 times off and on for a hour and when he would hit the cage it was loud and he would be almost frozen I would talk to him and pet him and he would be ok. Well that was the end of it well yesterday he was munching his timothy hay and in mid munch fell over again its so loud when he dose it I am afraid he is gonna hurt him self and he just lays there for a bit like he is in a daze. My vet thinks ear infection but he dosent have the classic signs of a ear invfection. No tiling the head or hopping in circles. he dosent do this all the time just every few days

I hear mice in my attic and walls, where my cats can't get to them...if I put out rat poison will it hurt my cats if they happen to catch one that has eaten the poison? If it will hurt my cats, does anyone have any suggestions for eliminating the mice other than traps...my attic is not that easily accesible.
