I have a 3 month old rat terrier puppy and he seems to still pee in his bed even after i take him out or after i wash it. I've done everything i know to do. Scold him for bad behavior and praise him for the good, but none of this seems to help him from peeing on things. I have the spray you can use to keep him off of things and urinating but this isnt helping. thanks!

Ok, so 1 and a half weeks ago I started a 5 gallon aquarium with 8 fish (stupid wal-mart giving me bad advice) Only one fish died, but I took the 5 gallon back and got a 10 gallon 1.5 days later. I gave one fish to a friend and had 6 fish left in my new 10 gallon (kept the same filter cartridge and gravel and water, and added about 5 more gallons.) The fish did great for a week, no problems at all. I then added two new fish two serpae tetras which Wal-mart told me would be compatable with my current fish. well...these fish have murder my zebra danio and have removed the majority of the tails off of my neons. They have even injured each other. The only fish unscathed is a glowlight tetra. Wal-mart will take back the dead one, the 4 injured neons, and the two evil fish. However, I don't know if I should make them take theglowlight as well (he is a schooling fish and will be all alone) also, I don't know if I should add more fish or how long I should wait...it's been10 days total

I have been looking for weeks for a kitten in the Baltimore area my application didn't go thru at the Baltimore County Humane Society and I tried another place in Reisterstown but they ended up quarantining the cats and the center so I couldn't get a kitten from there. I don't want to spend more than $100. Petsmart isn't something I want to do either cause of some of the cats coming from there ending up with rabies. If anyone in the Baltimore area knows somewhere that I can adopt a kitten for under $100 or free I would love it. Thanks so much!!!

I'm getting a miniature beagle this weekend and he will be 6 1/2 weeks old when I get him. (Yes I know that is young to be leaving his mother but apparently the breeder thinks its okay so I'm going with it). I've decided to try crate training but I work during the day 7:45am-4:15pm. I would come home at 11:30 for lunch and let him eat and out to potty but my concern is if he would be able to hold it for 4 hours at such a young age. Should I keep him in the crate during this time with a towel in it to potty on or keep him in my bathroom with puppy pads on the floor? My concern with keeping him in the bathroom is that he would go on the floor and I want to train him to not do that. Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

Ok the first question is that what are some toys for my kitten to play with at night by himself . I cant get him another kitten to play with . Cause my parent's barly let me keep him in the first place. The only reason they let me keep him cause my boyfriend gave him to me and I told my bf I lost my other cat and my bf brought me one one day. And the other thing is My kitten he always seems to chew on everything he sees . I dont know if he's theething or playing . When will he lose his baby theeth and will he grow out of and when? He even bites me and my boyfriend .He jumps in my face at night and he acts like he attacks me. But I know he's just playing about that . Anyways. How can I get him to stop. I tryed the spray bottle . But he loves to play in water all the time. And he just chases the water . Is there any other way for me to make him stop. I cant put him in a room . He cries and my parent's say I have to watch him so he wont get into any trouble agian. Thanks for the advice,

I am boarding this one horse and he is in his stall right now. I put him out and he was out basically all morning, but now he just wants to stay inside. I think he is snoozing or resting right now, but when I left him, his left rear leg/hoof is up. Is this what all horses do when they are resting ? Do they keep one or more of their hoofs off the ground? If not, what can I do? It seems like he doesn't want to put pressure on it....should I call the owner and notify him of this?

She was 2.92kg (6.45lbs) when we found her, around 18 August; she's 3.24kg (7.14lbs) today. Here's a picture:

A teen-ager, maybe?

She is going to a vet soon; I'm just getting curious about what I should be feeding her -- cat or kitten food? (Right now she gets some dry food for 4-12 month old kittens, and a variety of cat and kitten wet food.) Some of the larger-sized cat treats seem too big for her to eat comfortably.

I don't have enough experience with cats to make a cat/kitten guess based on her behaviour. She's a charming cat, very well-trained (and bright enough to have her new now-owners trained...), affectionate, and she likes to play a bit, too.

Thanks for any well-educated guesses!

I took my dog too the vets today because her ears keep irritating her...anyway she was given some drops and a 10 day course of tablets and it came to £35 and £17 of that was the consultation fee (gone up from £11) The money these vets must make is outrageous..plus i pay pet insurance but cant claim on any bills under £50..as anyone payed more than £17 for a consultation fee.

Do Great Danes make good family pets and do they have very different needs than most dogs.

I have a 7 month old Shitzu/Cava and we have just moved into a new home about one month ago. He is a house dog and only goes outside for walks and to go potty. Last week I took him to get groomed and the groomer said he has fleas on his belly. She also said when she gave him a bath she didn't see any jump and didn't notice until she started to groom him and then seen he had 2 or 3 on his belly. She said I didn't have to worry about the house being infested because it didn't seem like it could be a problem. So I got a 3&1 shampoo to kill and it worked. Then I seen 2 fleas on him again so I gave him another bath and decided from now on to let him go through the front door and guess what? We have them again! I've been paying very much close attention to him and if I see any fleas jumping on our house, bed, etc. But I don't see any jumping or having them bite us and only see fleas on him. My upstair neighbor's cat has fleas, she says. Can it travel? Our front door is also attached to hers.
