they have new theories out about how determining the dogs age and its not just mutiple it by seven any more:The First year of a dogs life, they are like a 16 year old human (physical abilities, not cognitive). The Second year of a dogs life, they are like a 24 year old human. For each year after two, you can add 5 years to every one year. If a dog is 7 years old they are like a 49 year old human. that is if you want a number figure if you are unsure of when your dog was born, for instance you got him from a shelter, your vet could determine his age by the amount of wear on his teeth, and relative size.

everyone has pretty much said the same thing. It is 7 x a human year. However, dont base all of your expectations on this, Research each breed, they will list different life expentancies for each breed and they do not use dog years but human years.

Your canines is 4 years. some say it is 7 to a million, yet it is barely a handbook. case in point terriers stay properly into their childrens so a Terrier of around 4 could nevertheless be extremely youthful. on the different hand with canines who purely stay to be 8 or 9, 4 could be seen to be middle age, a minimum of.

Answer is pretty much what the first two said, but remember....the bigger the dog, the smaller the lifespan. Little rat dogs live twice as long as your larger breeds.
