Yesterday i changed 2 gallons of my 10 gal tank for its routine cleaning and after i added the water the tank began to get cloudy. When i woke up i was very very cloudy. i did all the water tests and everything was fine except for ammonia. it went as high as it could go. I put ammonia lock in it and now the tank is still cloudy. why after a water change did it get cloudy and have an ammonia spike??

I really want a kitten I have 4 Cats but 2 are 17 and about to die :( .They are really sick and I have a a 2 house like thing that are attached together and 1 side is my grandmas and the other side is mine.I am 2 young to get a job and my grandma said she wants no more cats but my mom said we can still have animals.The 2 cats are sick that are on my grandmas side and they were in my life 4Ever.I hav'nt told my mom that yet but she might say no.But if I explain to her well I dont know.She said No but what about when they die:( .I really dont want them to die and when they do I will be so said I wont be able to think!I even said I would pay 4 all the food for him/her.How can I try to convince her to say yes???My friend said she had 2 kittens for free but they are gone now so I cant get them :( .What can I do to try to convince her to say yes when the die???Best answer gets 10pts.!!!

The female just had his puppies about 2 months ago, and she is now spayed. He is still trying to hump her though and gave her an ear infection because of it. Has anyone had any experience like this and know that the male will stop since he already has a "taste" for her? HELP! I want to know if neutering him will work, and make him stop!

I have a new kitty and a old cat when I was 8 years old. I dont know if they got used to each other yet , The little kitten is a boy and his name is Little JJ. He want's to play with my older cat who is a girl her name is coco . It seems Little JJ want's to play and follow coco around , but she just hisses and swats him . I'm scared she will hurt him. What can I do to make them used to each other. I also my mom has a little dog and Little JJ wont stop hissing at my mom's dog and stop chasing him . What can I do? Please help.

I'm getting a male pit bull puppy in about a month and I'm wondering if he will get along with another Pit bull puppy that I will be getting in about 6 months from now. i know the fact that i found him in the wild when i was fishing has a lot to do with it (he was nearly dead), but he is the meanest little red ear slider ive ever seen (i know hes a red ear and not a snapper or anything)...he bites ferociously as anything i put up to his mouth, especially my fingers! he is still small (about 3.5 inches long) and i got him when he was only 2 or less inches long. i try holding him (not all too often though because i know your not really supposed to) but it seems the more i try the meaner he gets!! got any advice on how to tame this beast?

here goes.....! my new collie cross 'cassie' guards her food for hours so my lab cross doesnt get it, the lab 'jack' is castrated but my collie is not neutered! who is more dominant (me first of course!)? how do i go about feeding them? so far they feed out of diferent bowls but in the same room, both at the same time but jack wolfs down his food to try and pinch cassie's, shall i stop this or leave them to it? look at my last question for more details, thank you!

i found these great smooth stones on a trail in the woods, they were obviously placed there by some one for some reason. anyway i think its granite cuz theyr gray and white and they're made of these tiny sparky crystals. the other type i got from a huge stone fence, its a slab of grey rock that's common here in MA. i don't know what it is thoagh, but it also has sparkly speks. its the type people use to decorate theyre front lawn. anyway, are these types aquarium safe? thanks.

far, we have had him for 4 week, making a real dent in house training, but one problem we have come accross, is that we are finding him very snappy with us mainly the kids (3 of them), we feel comfortable with the fact that we know he is only playing, but it actually hurts, have done the obvious thing and told him NO, but does not seem to make any difference, can anyone give me any advice on this, and also advise if this is something he will grow out of, would appreciate any advise given.
