Probably not. My ex-step mother had a neutered male dog & it would hump male & female dogs, fixed or not. It even tried to hump the cats! It's a dominance issue. Cats & dogs should be neutered or spayed before one year of age to avoid this problem.
Put a diaper on your female dog to keep the humpmeister off her. My deceased paternal grandma would do that when she didn't want her Chihauhaua & Chinese bald pack dog mating.

We have two chihuahuas at home, both female. The one that was spayed plays with a stuffed teddy bear twice her size. She humps that thing to death. The other female just went into heat and she has never shown an interest to hump anything, kind of like my wife.... Just kidding! It just goes to show you that all animals are different when it comes to being horny, I don't think that it makes a bit of difference if they are deactivated or not. Hmmm... now if I were to finally get that vasectomy???? Wow, now I have a question!!!

It should help I to have a Chihuahua and he has been fix (neutered) And although he seems fine he doesn't seem to have that feeling like before so go ahead and take care of the little man, That's if you don't plan on using him again (puppies). take care

If your lucky, the 'humping' will stop.
Never heard of 'humping' giving an ear infection, that's a new one.

Is your male fastened? A spayed lady won't decelerate is male instincts. If the male is fastened, than it truly is actual a dominance conflict. My lady terrier, humps the crap out of my MALE usual poodle. it truly is in basic terms one in all the tactics they conflict for Alpha prestige. in basic terms teach your self on the situation, and take a inspect to no longer intrude; except the canines initiate bitting.

he may not because it is also done to establish dominance. that is why you should get them spayed and neutered when they are 2-3 months old and not sexually mature
