As many as they can eat in a 5-7 minute basis. Feed them like this 2 to 3 times daily.

A serving is about the size of their head (or twice that), fed once daily to a baby, every other day to a young turtle, and every three days to an adult.

There are other feeding plans experts use, but they are all designed to prevent over-feeding the turtles. It is really easy and really common to over-feed turtles!

Break them in half and feed a few at a time until he is full. That will give you an idea of how much he eats.

lay out alot of pellets and watch them and see how much of it they eat, and when they eat it. and from there lay out about the same amount, at about the same time.
