Try giving her a nice snuggly place to rest and a luke warm water bottle or magic bag to cuddle with. She may need to see the vet as well if you suspect something is wrong medically.

LOL, doesnt it just make you want to pull your hair out. Dont think another cat would help that problem ethier then you have twice the aggervation.

The only thing i can do to keep my cat quite is leave my bedroom door open, the cat has to be able to have access where i am at all times! If that dont work you have to pack it to bed with you.

What is funny though if anything ever happened to the cat you would be heart broken, because you would miss her aggervating you. Sounds crazy i know, but it is true.

I suggest making as comfortable a place as possible for the cat to spend the night. A heating pad, under a towel, may feel good on her arthritic hips. A little warm food just before bedtime. a clean litter box nearby. Her eyes may be getting bad, so keep her in a familiar environment. Your vet probably has tips for keeping a geriatric cat comfortable.

My cat wakes us up at night. 3:30am last night. You are supposed to ignore kitty, or else any attention you give is rewarding him/her. I was so annoyed last night because she was meowing so loud (she normally has a soft meow) so I picked her up and put her on our bed, and she stopped meowing and started purring loudly and clawing our bedding, as usual.

If it's a he, he probably is noting that there is a female in heat and he wants out. If it's a she, she may be in heat or just wants something. If it's a kitten it may be lonely, especially if it's really young. Give it attention and give it toys and things to play with.

She is probably whining because she wants something. Maybe to be in the room with you? That would be my guess, and I would just let her if that's it....

If it's a male cat (Tom) then he's probably in heat. Cut his balls off.
