Well, that's easy. Of course, in the beginning of time, God created all animals. Why, you ask? Number one reason would be to be companions of humans. Secondly, to be a food source for life. Imagine life without animals... I for one don't see much life without them. They bring smiles to our faces, sometimes sorrow... :P and a lot of times gives us a full stomach!

Hello Harsh..
I guess...that in the ancient times somebody looked around and said:
"WE have a soul and animals don't... so ...man (they have forgotten women) is the King of the animals...
But... as God is perfect, what reason should he have to make animals without soul?... to not thinking? ..
But I'm sure they do think

Humans are animals, so what is the purpose of humans too? Most other animals I can see the purpose, it's called diversity and the food chain, but humans have overrun the Earth and plundered it. What for?

BAsically, there is no reason, it just is, to feed on others, and to be fed on. to live and die, and rot in the ground, and be eaten by bacteria, which give the soil nutrients, for the pants to grow for the animals to eat, for other animals to eat......etc.
They just are. THere is no reason. end of.
