I posted about curiousity of teaching cockatiels new whistles/words with cds specific for repetition to play while not at home.

What whistles/words did it seem quicker/easier for your cockatiel to pick up? Which ones were ones you tried, but they never picked up?

I know each bird like people of course are unique and none of this info will determine what my birds can and can't do. I am just anxious to hear other cockatiel owners experiences =)

My cat has been losing weight, throwing up and now has lost apettite. She now is licking her lips all the time and sounds like she is about to throw up but doesn't . She is skin and bones now and won't drink water. Help

My Tika was adopted from a local shelter. I had always wanted a 'Tortie' colored cat because most of the ones I met were pretty friendly and intelligent. And the local shelter had a Tortie kitten who was not shy...That's Tika. My first cat, Sylvester(rest in peace), was given to me as a kitten in 1986, I had him until he died in 1999.

my 11 week puppy died last night in his sleep. we just got him three weeks ago, he was up to date on his shots and was supposed to get his final set tomorrow at 3. He didnt throw up or have diarreha, but the vet thinks it was parvo because it is going around. He slept a lot, and kept to himself rather than play with the other dogs, but I never saw any signs of sickness, he ate and drank but was a little letarghic (i know i spelled that wrong, i dont care) anyone have any idea what it could from? I have two other dogs, we are getting them checked out for parvo tomorrow morning, and are on alert tonight, they seem okay though. Im so angry and confused, any ideas would be appreciated!

my dog has scabs all over him ... it's not from flees and it's not from his food. Any ideas? He's always itching and scratching and biting til he bleeds and as it tries to heal a greenish-yellow ooze comes out of the wound. I feel so bad for him and we don't know what's going on!

As a kitten he took a few licks on the edge of a beer can and now he's an alcoholic! If someone has a beer can he will get in their lap and try and sneak drinks when the person isn't looking. If someone has a bottle he will try and wrap his paws around the neck and bring it down to himself. Do they have AA for cats? Will a few licks of beer do any harm to him? What's the legal age limit for a cat to drink because I don't think he's 21? Do you think he will peer preasure my other cats to drink?

My kittens are 3 wks old. They are walking pretty well and trying to run. When is it a good time to start training them with the cat litter. When is it ok to feed them kitten food. And when is it a good time for them leave their mom? Ok that's enough questions lol. Thanks
