My Sheltie puppy is doing extraordinarly well in her obedience class and will soon start agility. Do you like competing? Are people in these competitions generally nice? I found people in conformation to be snobby with a few exceptions!

I have an Albino Corn Snake, that is about 15" long. My brother transfered his care to me when he moved. I feed the snake about once every ten days pinkies. He eats two at a time. He has a 20 gallon aquarium equipped with his heating pad(on the side of the tank), warming lamp on one side of tank, and hiding spots as well as a large water bowl. For some reason, he seems less vivid in color, less active (he hardly ever comes out from underneath his rock), and it seems as if his scales are "Dry"! I dont know why. Can u give me some insight?

i bought food at the store, but what regular foods do they eat, and are healthy for them. oh.. my hamster has just given birth to three babies on wednesday, and these are the same hamsters i asked about in the last couple questions of mine, : )
thanx for all ur help. the babies r doing okay so far, it has been 2 days. i still don't know when to hold them though. the mom gets really mad and fiesty if anything goes in her cage. what should i do. any advice? p.s. i know i allready asked this question kind of but i need more answers pleez help... wut food, when do i hold babies, any extra advice

my pup is 9 mon. at first I thought she was in heat? her vulva and nipples are swollen and she is spotting ? but its been a month now and she is still spotting , its dark in color . i was getting concerned that she might not be in heat, so to double check I let my male near her to check how she would act towards his advances but she wants nothing to do with him?? so is she in heat or what??

Why would you want to be like her? Why would you want to be subject to a trend like carrying a little dog around started by The Queen of Skank, Paris Hilton? Was it when BritBrit got BitBit that you decided that “Yes! I need an itty bitty doggie to dress up and drag around!”.Perhaps you don’t think that she look's silly, but you do. Let’s look at history. Would these people have been taken seriously if they were carrying around a dog in their hand bags? Do you think God would have chosen the Virgin Mary to give birth to Jesus if she was carrying around a tiny dog? I’m sorry, but it would have been pretty hard to take Hitler seriously if a doggie was munching on his mustache. I doubt the Mona Lisa would have been such a big deal if she had Tinkerbell in her lap. And why would you want to dress like her? wooo lets all go around in mini skirts with our boobies popping out of our tops. Comon everyone don't be a skank like Paris! get your own style. And please leave the poor animals alone.

I have put out a box with a towel in it for them. The mother is extremely skittish and skinny, definitely looks like a stray. I was surprised when she finally let me pet her. The kitten when I first saw it had the sleek fur and eyes closed, looked like a day, maybe 2 days old. I have no problem taking the mother to the vet, but at this time she won't let me pick her up, I can only pet her as long as I am sitting still. The kitten is now walking, or should I say stumbling LOL, and is furred out, cute little thing.

I can understand that there are a lot of dogs out there that are having puppies by who knows what down the street. The owners are irresponsible when that happens.

We have attempted to save a pet from the pound. They didn't like that even though we had almost 3 acres, it wasn't fenced in. After jumping through the bureaucratic hoops, we still didn't have a dog that was not aggressive or could be off a leash. We had 2 rotties before that were never on a leash and had great lives here. We gave up and searched for a breeder for a dog of our choice. Looking back, it would have been easier to adopt a child from Cambodia.

We now have a Dogue De Bordeaux with Champion bloodlines and UKC papers. We are responsible people, nice large yard, both have great jobs and we live in a good neighborhood. I love this breed and they are listed on the rare breed list. What is so bad about responsible adults having a dog they want instead of being made feel guilty for not taking a neglected one?

my cats been missing since last night, he's an indoor cat and we rarely let him out. We believe that he got out while someone left the door opened and didnt realize it. Havent seen him since 10:00 last night and am worried to death... Does anyone know if cats come back? Do they know their way home?
