They are horrible little monsters that bark way too much, poop wherever they want, and ignore your every command.
No matter how much training you give them they ignore you.
and they begin to stink about an hour after you bath them.

You're going to get a certain kind of dog but don't even know what it is?

You don't need a dog at all if you aren't going to be home. A dog is not a robot you can turn on and off when you decide you have 5 minutes for it. Get a pet rock.

Yorkshire terriers are part of the toy breeds. They are loyal and playful and will suffer when you are not with them. They live to be companion dogs. Hard to be a companion when nobody is home.

Perhaps you should wait until you are home more to get a dog.

A yorkie would proably be better off with a yard (a place to dig holes). You weren't planning on leaving the pooch alone inside all day, were you? Not a good plan.

Then why get a dog? Thats just outright cruel. Why not get a cat. They love being left alone. Maybe a Gerbil. Dont get a dog man, They need love and affection all the time. Not just when you want it.

They're a bit high strung, not good for hanging out by themselves a lot. In fact most dogs should not be left alone all day, they get bored and depressed. Maybe a cat would be better.

If you are gone alot and the dog would be alone, I would recommend you get a fish. Dogs need attention.
