OMG I am probably one of the biggest animal lovers you will ever meet, well hear from...ya know what I mean! Anyway if my dog gave birth..well mines a boy but if I had a female who had puppies I would most definantly ask a vet the proper steps to take even though I practically already know cause I am like a 24 7 animal planet watcher. So yeah Id have a welting box and supplies like scissors (for the cords) towels, water, and lots a love. And not to mention I would be like so nervous and so excited at the same time. I would find them all great perfect homes (and id probably keep one)

Hopefully it'll be a pure breed. I can always sell the babies for money and find them a good home because I obviously can't keep all the little puppies in my house. Sadly, there is not enough room. But I can do the next best thing, which is let them be loved and cared for by someone else. I even own a T-shirt that says "Save the animals"

I actually helped my dog give birth twice. She was a very small Chihuahua that was so fat and pregnant that she couldn't reach the sacs to tear them open and get the pups out. I ended up having to slightly tear them open and cut the cords then hand her the pup to clean off. I continued until they were all out. She'd be cleaning one as I was getting another one ready for her. She had at least SIX pups both times. Usually this breed only has 3 at the most, or so I've been told.

Well first of all, all of my animals are spayed or neutered because I didn't want them to have babies. If one of my animals did have babies, I would take all of the precautions neccessary to make sure she and the puppies are healthy. Money wouldn't be an object because my animals are my family. When I found was ready to find the pups homes, I would pre-screen the families (check references, housing, vet they plan on using, etc.), check in on them every once in a while after the adoption, and I would take the pup back if they couldn't keep it, whatever the reason may be.

I agree with Green. my dog is not only male but neutered so i'd call guiness as well. If I want a puppy I get one from a breeder. I don't have the time nor do I want the responsibility of caring for or placing puppies. Responsible dog owners should spay or neuter their animals to ensure their offspring don't wind up abandoned or in a shelter.

You bet your *** I am-

But to answer your question:

I'll likely keep them all, allow them to run free in my monstrous backyard but still teach them that even though they have all the room in the world to do their business here it's fine with me if they crap all over the jerk's yard next door instead.

As for the other dog in my life, I took precautions to prevent that from happening and I understand she's already found another boyfriend.

Well, if my dog gives birth , I'll be rich and probably go in the Guinness Book of World Records because she was spayed .... LOL. Sorry, I couldn't resist :-)
