My big dogs don't normally shiver, but I've fostered several small dogs that do.

Yes, my dog shivers when she is cold or scared. If she has just finished swimming and she's wet, she'll shiver from being cold, but if we dry her off with a towel, she stops, and sometimes if a thunderstorm is loud enough, she shivers from being scared as well.

my tea cup chaiua shivers all the time shes cold, nervous,or just wants attention.

oh yes...I have a little yorkie mix that shivers when its a thunderstorm, if the grass is wet and you want her to go out...and definately when its cold out!! :)

Yes, Mine does all the time when she is cold. She is a wimp and sleeps under the covers with us.
