At a few months old, you should be feeding her either three times a day or keeping the food out so she can eat when she wants to. If you're not feeding her this much, start now!
If you are feeding her buy she is not gaining weight AND has or has had fleas, she's probably got tapeworms. But even tapes shouldn't cause her bones to show through her skin. The only thing that can cause that is lack of food.
At that young an age, the pup should be fat, sassy and full of energy.
Consider taking her to a vet to determine what the cause of the problem is.

It depends on what kind of dog she is too. Some dogs are naturally skinny. Be sure to check her nose and see if it feels warm and/or dry. That's usually the best way to tell. Her nose should be cold and wet. Is she eating properly? If she's not eating right there may be something wrong. Also, is she active or does she just lay around. If she's just a puppy she should be very active. And I would go with your gut instinct...if you don't think she's acting like a normal pup...then it deffinately won't hurt to take her for a check up!

take your canines to the vet ASAP! the type you describe him "hacking" sound like it may be kennel cough. canines get this from interplay with different canines that have it. its an top respiration virus which will sparkling by itself over the direction of roughly 2 weeks. if it appears that evidently to be getting so undesirable that the canines isn't resting and the coughing is conserving him up while he could be resting, take him to vet and gets drugs. now, on the different hand, if he have been given into chocolate, he needs to be seen appropriate away to determine that the hacking isn't a symptom of that. canines do no longer metabolize chocolate like human beings do. so little or no may lead them to very ill. the worst form of chocolate for canines is the bakers chocolate. milk candies and problems with that nature are much less centred and don't many times reason a canines to be so ill until eventually he's eaten various it. yet regaurdless, he could be seen by a vet to determine what's occurring with him. maximum suitable of success to you.

she's skinny...for every 5lbs feed her a 1/8-1/4 cup of food 3 times daily...if she doesnt gain weight within 1 week then take her to the vet. If she starts having diarrhea, vomitting, stops eating, or becomes bloated in the belly, take her to the vet and quick.

Take her to your vet to have her checked. She may have something going on somewhere. Also, if she's not eating that much, that would be a sign for sure. You should be able to feel her ribs if you rubbed her side, but if you can see them really really well, then you may want to have her checked out.

Whenever one of my pets got sick, they were always laying down and they weren't themselves. They didn't want to play, they just slept all day. As for the bones showing, my only suggestion is are you feeding him/her? They might be hungery.

She can have any number of problems ranging in severity. It could be worms, fleas, ticks, or she could have a stomach or bowel problem. Take her to the vet and they will be able to help you out.
They may suggest something as simple as a change of diet, although I doubt it.

Feel her nose. It is warm? That means she is running a fever. Have you had her Checked for worms? Touch her and reassure her. Call a vet.
