I got a 6 weeks old cocker last night. When i fed her this morning, she chocked a a piece of canned food. I tried to get it out but couldn't. She died in my hands. Is there anyway to get food out of a dog ? In case it happens with the next one...

We hunt them, we wear them, we use them for furniture (like skins and stuff), we test drugs on them, WE ARE SO MEAN TO THEM WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

Yesterday, my friend told me that her elderly cat had a heart attack and died while trying to climb stairs. Besides her and her family's tears, her dog is deep in mourning. The dog goes outside to howl. he is throwing up all his food. What can be done to comfort the dog? Will bringing another cat into the house help?

I have two indoor cats and they leave hair all over the house. My 2 year old son is allergic to the hair. I don't really want to give the cats away if possible, so are there any ways of reducing the amount of hair they shed? And no, I don't think shaving them bald is an option!! Would getting them to go outdoors improve the situation, would they moult less?

His name is Max, and he goes into the kitchen and faces a corner and meows. He then looks like he is confused and he will get on a kitchen chair and go to sleep. He recently had a check up, and he is in good health for his age, so I don't think it is illness, any suggestions?

Hello to all dog lovers….i have two lab puppies 7 and 5 weeks old. I m new dog owner ..so I need some suggestion from some expertise…..i m not sure about how much I need to feed them ..coz they are always hungry and this is their growing time ..they are growing really fast …so I m feeding them puppy chow right now ..do u have any suggestion about any other food which is good for them …
Sometimes male puppy starts eating mud from ground …how can I stop him doin that …
Sometimes female puppy eat from male puppy’s bowl too …she is big and eating too much …so If u have suggestion about this ..please share with me too ..

Honestly, I've some questions like: my cat has had a runny toilet for 3 weeks now&I saw blood-what do i do?OR, my dog has kennel cough for some time now,what should I do.OR, my dog has given birth and the puppy has crushed his/her tongue-how should I feed him/her?etc etc etc

People, if you think your pet is sick. BRING HIM/HER TO THE VET. Stop waiting for weeks to decide then go on the net for an answer. Your answer is at the VETS!

At 6:35 am our beloved cat Sammy passed.

We think Sammy was around 17 or 18 years old and probably his heart just gave out. He seemed fine earlier in the morning. Sam was in the bed saying hi to wake us up. I pet him. We fed him -Sammy seemed like he was having just a regular morning.

Ed our little guy was in the hall and looked scared. I peeked in the kitchen and saw Sam was on his side breathing and purring but only faintly. I called out to my husband. I pet him and looked him over then went & called the emergency clinic while my husband stayed with him. But we weren't able to wisk him to the ER in time. Sammy had slipped away.

We will miss him dearly, he was a GREAT CAT. With a heavy heart, R.I.P. Sammy!!

I have an old cat around twenty in human years, and she is beginning to lose her teeth. She is having a hard time eating even soft food, I have been putting her soft food in the blender to make it softer, but she is still not eating. I know she is not sick because she wants to eat but meows loudly when attempting to. I think her gums are tender. any advice?
