I have an 11 month old dalmation I recently adopted who has had 5 different owners do to different reasons. She has a submissive urination problem and I was looking for ways to train her out of it. She mostly just pees around almost all other dogs (of all sizes) and occasionally small children.

About a year ago I inherited my grandmas cat, who was 7 years litter box trained. When I got him he started peeing everywhere in the house! Throw rugs seem to be his favorite, but he pees on everything left on the floor, even if its just a few minutes. When i started hanging up my bathroom rugs after getting out of the shower, he just started peeing on the tile floor. I keep his litter box clean, but he just refuses to use it. I was told by a vet that cats never pee where they eat, but he peed on the floor by his food dishes too. Srpaying cat repellant on things doesnt help either, he just pees on top of it. The only place he doesnt pee is my bedroom, the messiest room in the house. The strangest thing is that when I catch him peeing, he is doing it standing on all fours, sort of tilted towards the object hes peeing on, like a dog would.
I was thinking about doing something to make his litter box more appealing, like putting potted cat nip around it. Any other ideas?

i am a young food-stylist putting together my portfolio which means i am organizing several different photo shoots for myself to show to clients and hopefully lead to fulltime work as a stylist.i can email my first shoot so you can see the type of thing i like doing!I am the one who prepares the food, and finds all the props in the photos(tables,backgrounds,chairs,plates,cultery..)as well as arranges it.
The next shoot i am working on is most likely going to happen on Sept 25th or 26th, in SYDNEY,australia, and i want it to be about "afternoon tea".SO,i would really love if some1 could bring one of their birds(hopefully a colorful one,or even a grey one)to perch on one of the chairs of my set.one of the chairs will be pushed into a table laden with fine china, tea, and cakes, cookies or pies.I would like it to look like he lives in the garden i am shooting in but,am not going to try to feed him in any way.i can pay for your time and will need u and the bird for 3-4hrs max.THx

My female Cocker Spaniel pup is 9 months old and just got scratched in the eye by our cat!! Within 5 minutes her all was all bloodshot and shut. If I open it, it looks like a scratch/cut on the eyeball itself, what can i do tonight to help her? It no longer seems to bother her, other than looking awful. We have some left over meds from an eye infection...should i use these??? Helpp.

For some reason now (not before last week), my 3 year old female cat flips her head around, twitches a bit and seems agitated, but purrs when you even gently scratch or pat above her tail. Is this something I should have a vet check out because there might be an internal problem, or it is just some stage she's going through?

It's like saying "Oh granny is 87, I guess we will put her to sleep". I think animals should die on their own but if they are in pain, they should be put to sleep.

I have a Qh who is so hard to worm that he will rear up and strike out at the tube of paste. I have done the non tubed wormer but i just dont like to take the time and i dont think it works as good. He is not trying to hurt me in anyway (he is a 25 year old horse that would not hurt anything). I need to know if any of you have ANY good ideas on what i should do. Also does putting a treat into it work like apple sauce or something.

Hello. I have a 1 1/2 year old maltese male. I wanted to mate him with another maltese, but havent yet found an available one. My parents own a small yorkie she's about 2yrs old. My dad wants to mate them..Should I?..I havent heard of this type of breeding. The only reason I want to mate him, is to keep his pups in the family. When he passes on I want to own one of his pup, you know.

I have a 3 year old german shepherd that is unable to gain weight and looks very malnourished. I have run several rounds of blood tests on her, which shows that she possibly has SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth). She has been on 7 weeks of antibiotics (metronidazole and doxy) as well as a prescription diet (purina EN). Nothing seems to help her. Any suggestions?

My dog just came in from outside foaming at the mouth and blood all around her nose and mouth. I went outside and found a dead opposum. She hasn't had a rabies vaccine in over a year. Should I be worried? What should I do?
