i have a tank with fancy guppies 1 male betta pleco neons,and would like a snail or two can someone recommend a type that will not eat all my plants? thank you

I recently got a ferret and have suddenly had a problem with mice in my house. Until now I have never seen any signs of mice, now I catch the running across the living room. Any links with more information would help. Thanks

so i have found homes for all my kittens, but this guy i know his cat just had kittens and they are 3 weeks old, i was just wondering if anyone in minnesota in the twin cities area wants a cat, i told him i would find them homes because he said if he cant find homes for them he is going to take them out back with his 22. he has 6 and they are all female, but i dont know what they look like, if i have to i will take them all and find them homes from my house, but i cant justify shooting 6 kittens. can any one help by taking one?

They are labled as lower species, looked down on by some humans. Who gave us the right to judge them? Do we lead by example? I wish some people would stop being so self righteous and judgemental. How about excepting your own "mutt and mongrul, designer and hybred" people before you lay your judgement down on another species.

Our snail had whiteish ,milky stuff on his shell and I had seen the procostumius cleaning him so I wondered if he sucked part of the snail out .The snail has been on the bottom for acouple of hours now sinse I noticed this.

My betta is like 2 1/2 yrs. old. My question is...would it be unusual for a 2 1/2 yr. old betta to just stay at the bottom of the bowl all the time? It's like he can't swim and he look's out to shape. He has been this way for about 4 mths. At first I thought he was dying and that was 4 mths. ago. He does eat because when he see's me put food in the bowl he make's his way to the top, but I keep the water level low so he can get his food. Thanks for all you answers!!

last saturday we moved in to a new house along with our pets. Kitty, our 8-year old male cat, the moment we reached the house and i wasnt holding it anymore, ran into the direction i dont know. i didnt see to where it went. could it possible know that we already moved,or will it find its way back to our old house?
how could i let it come back to us?

and noticed that my cat had pooped outside his litter box, I was scooping up his poop and notice a little bit of mucous type fluid in his stool as it had a bit of blood in it not much but noticable that is what caught my attention, does anyone think this is serious?? Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated, my cat does not seem to be ill and he is rather energetic.

I am in love with snails and want to convert my 10 gallon fish tank into a home for nothing but snails. I really have no prefrence as to what kind of snail, i like them all. I was wondering if anyone could help me with how many snails I could put into a 10 gallon, i like big families. I realize it depends on the type of snail as they all grow different sizes but any advice would be really appreciated, i wouldnt want to overcrowd!!!

i was thinking about getting a pat rat, i hear they are very sociable pets, but i cant seem to find the right one, there are so many varieties, and i cant seem to find enough enformation, i need like a 1 on 1 chat or something. i have alot of questions about what should i buy, do and stuff. from what i read, its usually best to but them in pairs, i think 2 females wiukd be best. attention would not be a problem because im in independant studies, and i only have to go to school once a week, and as far as homework, that takes an hour to do every day, including weekends. time isnt an issue. nor is space, i have an old headboard i converted into a book shelf/pat supplys and stuff, my hamsters and fish are currently the only pets there, and the hamsters are at about 4-5 feet off the ground, i dont want them to fall. i have 2 cats, one is to much of a lazy blob to do anything, and he isnt alowed into my room, my other ones see the hamsters as just another thing in my room. details folow.
