LOL, ferrets are carnivores and, if anything, would scare the mice away. So their is no connection. If it is getting colder where you live then the mice might be coming inside for the winter. Don't let your ferret hunt or eat them though. Mice do fight back or they could have a disease.

i does not recommend it. there is not any telling what those mice might desire to be donning (distemper, worms, infections, fleas). or maybe though if the mice are not donning something and that they might desire to harm your ferret, ferrets won't be able to lose rather some blood through fact they have not got plenty to lose. additionally, treating any form of ferret injuries isn't affordable. I additionally does not recommend providing you with ferrets loose-roam. We placed ferrets in cages for their own protection. There are too many strategies for a ferret to get injured or killed if it has loose-roam of a house that may not precise ferret-proofed. Recliners, ovens, sofas, fridges, washers and dryers are deadly. And, it rather is particularly basic for a ferret to flee your place and be lost continuously with the help of digging a hollow interior the dryer venting. chemical compounds decrease than the sink, drugs left on a table, pencil erasers mendacity around, door stoppers... those are additionally deadly. -Swan proprietor of four ferrets: Ghost, Calypso, undergo, & Fin

I had the same problem when I got some Fancy-Rats; All those people I spoke to told me that the presence of rats would almost guarantee a mouse free house. Unfortunately this wasnt true and we spotted several mice in the living room soon after... in fact on one particular instance i caught two mice sat in the rats food bowl, in their cage eating the food. funny thing is that the lazy overfed rats just sat there and watched themselves being robbed.

I didnt accept that it was the presence of the rats in the house that encouraged the mice, but am happy to accnowledge that the large amounts of rat-food in the house may have brought them in.....

Ferrets eat mice - frequently - with gusto. I can't imagine them attracting mice unless you leave bags of food around and they the FOOD will.
