i am truly shocked and saddened.Steve was bold ,entertaining, passionate, and TRULY LIVED HIS LIFE TO THE FULL.Compare him to some of the nit picking narrow minded people we put up with daily (Local councillors, politicians,u know that pain in the **** at work, probably your boss, self important football pundits and news presenters) during our very short life on earth.Above all he was a family man and caring guy.
someone on here said he was a nerd.HELLO, that's not Steve that is us commenting on life,Steve really lived it.

Sounds to me such as you like Jesus. the place is your compassion. there became plenty extra to Steve Irwin than wrestling crocodiles and fidgeting with poisonous snakes. Did he carry out a little issues that have been wreckless and careless particular he did. yet you in addition to mght might desire to remember that he became perhaps the worldwide's variety one animal activist. maximum folk do not understand the quantity of time he spent speaking out and elevating money for the care and analyze of animals. to not point out the hundreds of thousands of greenbacks that he himself donated. Steve grew to become his mothers and fathers modest reptillian secure haven into what's now between the terrific zoo's interior the worldwide. to your counsel he did not die doing something stupid. He died with the help of the fringe of a stingray. Stingrays are not extremely risky. over the final one hundred years there have basically been 3 recorded occurrences of a guy or woman getting killed with the help of a Stingray. I pray that once a while comes human beings might have extra compassion for you then you definitely look to have for others. there is genuinely not yet another Steve Irwin. His legacy will continuously communicate for itself. Peace and God bless.

I heard it a couple of hours ago. Apparently, they weren't able to get a hold of Terri. She's somewhere in Tasmania.

I loved the guy. I always found his shows entertaining.

For those that don't know Steve Irwin, he used to present a show called "Crocodile Hunter" and "Crocodile Hunter Diaries". He was the star of the show.

Loved watching him, always put a smile on my face. His accent, and (my opinion) stupidities for some of the things he did. I'll miss him, but he went out in a great way, doing what he was most passionate about.
RIP Steve Irwin

I just heard its so shockingly sad I really feel for his wife and children but he died doing what he loved and his family knew that, his wife and children will probably carry on his work because he loved it so much and im sure he will watch over them all. I loved to watch him along with all his millions of fans he did so much to educate people about all wildlife and to respect animals from the largest to the tiniest what a great man he will be very sadly missed but fondly remembered. REST IN PEACE.

I loved Steve Irwin. I am sure that his wife is totally lost. May God be with her and her children and Steve's family.

He was a great entertainer, and obviously cared about the animals too. Whether you agreed with his methods or not he helped bring the issue of conservation into the public consciousness.

Have to say that it's no great surprise that he was killed during filming.
