I wrote about the cat, Tom, that I "INHERETED" after my brother passed away suddenly many months ago(late March} He has been doing better, but has had many health issues, which I am addressing as best I can.I try to give him alot of affection and have found that he has "a great motor" And he feels comfortable enough to yell in my face when he is unhappy about food or when I have worked too long!!! Just an update-thanks for your support!

People are seriously freaking me out!

Ok my puppy is 3 months. I have a 3 year old child and I am due to have my second child in 5 days. My puppy JUST TONIGHT LIKE 20 MINUTES AGO pup had an accident and I saw worms in her stool. They looked like little moving pieces of rice. Ok, now, someone answered me saying that it could be from eating cat poo. Which I IRONICALLY just caught the dog doing yesterday for the 1st time and here we are 24 hours later with this problem. The dog isn't around its mother, I AM THE PREGGO ONE, and I am just freaking because I don't want the family getting sick! First thing in the morning she is headed to the vet, I just want to minimize the risk (if there is any) of me or my son or my honey getting it. OR THE CAT for that matter! And if it IS from eating cat poo does that mean the cat could have it as well?

We are waiting for the arrival of our new baby girl...she is a SI Eclectus Parrot and we have never had one before...so we are not experts on them. We are bird people though. Any input would be appreciated.

I am trying to guess what mix this dog is (Link Below) ....I am not sure because a Puggle looks totally different when full grown......It is definately Pug mix but any guesses? I am looking for the mis in hopes I can find a puppy of this mix because I doubt she will still be available when I am ready to have a dog. If I could I would adopt her NOW but I cant.

I've had my cat since she was tiny (she's 4 now) and there's always been a problem with an incredibly strong ammonia smell in her litter box. It's so bad, my eyes water and my nose burns every time I change it. I've tried every combination of food and litter, she has lots of fresh water all day long and a clean bill of health, but it hasn't let up. Help!

My little one just had an accident and I went to clean up her poo and there were worms, guess we'll be in the vet first thing in the morning! But anyhow until then, what causes a pup to get them? Can she pass them onto my cat? She has already a dewormer treatment. I am REALLY worried because my vet told me she should be checked because I was pregnant, she didn't have any then. The vet said some are contagious to humans.... I am worried now because I am pregnant, how do i know if they are contagious? How do I know if I have them? How can I contract them. Like I said she will be heading to the vet first thing in the morning! But can anyone put my mind at ease until then?

Tucker is my kitten, he was born on May 21, and I got him when he was 7weeks 6 days old--I was told he had been completely weaned from the mother already. Up until this week he has been perfect!!! His new habit though isn't so nice, and maybe it isn't healthy. He has begun to 'nurse' on peoples clothing, on pillows, on blankets, just about anything soft. Why has he started to do this now? Also, everytime he does this we give him some food as a distraction, and that seems to please him. Is he just trying to tell us that he is hungry (but sometimes he does it when there is a plate of food right next to him)

He has a vet appointment on Saturday, but I was just wondering what to expect.

Thanks, Laura and Tucker

i just wanted to know the plusses and minuses of this stuff... i hear how ridiculous it is but then again i got this dog she has all fo the hard stuff (basically) of kids like potty training and waking up in the middle of the night. so why not the fun stuff like picking outfits? and i just wanted to know if anyone had like evidence that it hurts dogs or something before i spent a bunch of money on them. :)

I recently got a Pit Bull puppy. She is six weeks old and I have never worked on training a dog before other than house training. When I try to get her to work with me for sitting etc she just wants to play and bite, I know this is normal puppy behavior. What I am wondering is does anyone have tips specifically for training pit bull puppies?

I have had my Cat for 10 years. Ever since she was a kitten. I love her to death and she is spoiled beyond belief. I was given an 11 week old kitten tonight who is absolutely adorable and decided why not give it a shot. My cat hissed at her, is now angry and barely is letting me touch her. But no fear, the little one hissed back and got nervous and climbed in her pet carrier. I know shes up set but should I give the kitten back and consider this a lost cause or should I try to make them get along and keep the new kitten? My cat is very important to me and I don't want her upset or to cause unneeded stress on her. But this new kitten is way adorable, and I don't want to make her over nervous or anything. Any help is beyond appreciated!

My little Angel learned to flush (and I did not teach her, bless her, she picked it up while watching I can only surmise)-This amazing babe of mine does high 5, high 10, can count to 12 with her tail (swishes, as I count, she gives a swish-if I say 8, she goes around my legs, with her little slinky swish "eight times", and sure, at times she gets it wrong, but I STILL give her highest praise, stroke her fur, and cuddles and verbal praise.) She also does the "fetch the fake mousies"-Now I've trained her to "HERE", and she comes to me and sits practically on my foot-Then I show her the little fake mousies and tell her in louder than normal tone "NO FETCH"-If she starts to take off,she sits back down, and I PRAISE& PRAISE-And I tell her w/in approx.1-5mts to "FETCH MOUSIE", she leaps and bounds, drops mouse @my feet. Also from floor jumps to my shoulders on command (YES, she is declawed in front)-Any suggestions for more cool ideas-Serious answers ONLY-no losers w/mean answers pleze!!!

Please, serious answers..
He doesn't do it all the time but I have seen him at the corner of his cage scratching like hell and biting around the bottom and corner. I looked up rabbit.org and although it didn't specifically have this issue it had some similar and I would be only guessing it's sexual frustration?? He puts his head in the air and rubs parts of his cage with the underside of his face. Something else he does, happens frequently, he thumps hard with his back feet, usually when he's out of his cage. What does this mean?

My cat is showing symptoms of these three viruses/diseases.

However, I am perplexed about how they might have acquired it.

Can a cat acquire these viruses/diseases by being exposed to dirt or bacteria, ie. by licking contanimted surfaces such as toilet bowls, countertops, etc.?

Or is cat-to-cat transmission the only way a cat can acquire these viruses/diseases, ie. from another cat?

I have two cats, but they are both indoor pets (have never been outside at all unless they were in cages/carriers), and the other cat seems to be acting somewhat normal.
