YES. My ferret loves shoes more than anything else. He will attack a shoe that isn't even containing a foot.

They attack everything at random and keep your keys somewhere up high or you'll find them hidden in a pant leg on the floor or some other wierd place.

My ex's friend had one that loved my boots. It loved leather I guess cuzz when I took off my boots and we put them where it couldn't get them it arched it's back and hopped back and forth in front of us growling. Her friend said it has never done that. The little thing was pissed, then it got in to the duct work to try and find the vent that was near the book shelf my boots where on.

Lol, yes! Mine really liked any shoe with heavy rubber soles. They would drag them around and stash them in their hiding places.
