I know what the steroids were for, my concern is about her bloodshot eyes, will they go back to normal soon?

or will it take some time, what caused it to happen.

Dry eyes are a problem associated with steroid therapy..If steroids are continued, fake tears are recommended to prevent corneal ulcer.
dry eyes cause the redness..

If she isn't on prolonged steriod treatment, her eyes will return to normal.. If they don't, you will need to get fake tears for her from your vet.
