Every time I clean my turtle's tank, it becomes hideously dirty within three days. There is tons of nasty brown stuff all over the bottom, and floating around. I believe some of it is feces, some skin, and who knows what other weird stuff it is! I know I can't stop how often it goes to the bathroom, but what can I do to help keep it clean? And when it does get dirty how should I clean it?

The turtle is still only about 1&1/2 in diameter, will the mess get a lot worse as it gets bigger?

Hey everybody.

I was wondering if anyone here owns/has owned a great dane.
Do you think they make good pets/ could you tell me alittle about them?

I have another dog who is almost one year old (he gets along with any other animal) and two cats (who dont get along with anyone but eachother)
i also have a little sister and frequently have small children at my home.
i have a large yard and plenty of room for the dog to run around

i was wondering if this is all compatible with a great dane.

any help would be greatly appriciated. I need all the help i can get! thank you!

p.s. do they drool/shed?

I have a dalmatian mix named Pudgy and a pure bred chihuahua named Ruffy, and they are both yard dogs. I told everyone thier names so i would only have to spell Ruffy's breed once..lol. Anyways, they are forever chewing everything in my yard up. Plants, toys, rags, garden tools, even my Chuck-It ball throwing stick. I am so sick of cleaning up the shredded remains of my daughter's toys and clothes (if she leaves them out there), and I need help. Someone? Please? LOL.

My Pekingese barks at everyone she sees, anything with legs she barks at and if anyone gets near her she goes ballistic she has raging fits of agression towards others especilly other dogs. How can I train her to more docile and not to get so worked up when barking? (without spaying)
She got so worked up once she had a heat stroke and I almost lost her.

I've heard of certain places where you must have a permit to breed your dog and youcan only breed them if they're from good stock, showing, etc. This greatly reduces the population of unwanted and abandoned animals, plus there is less chance of low quality ill dogs passing on their genes. Does anyone know of a place that does this, or a way to get a law like this passed?
