Medications kill off beneficial bacteria and leave your fish susceptible to many more problems. You are always better off using freshwater aquarium salt and turning up the temperature when you have a problem. Keeping aquarium salt in your water prevents more problems. If you want to use a medication, put the fish in a bucket to treat them.

Maybe you put too much of that ick dissolving tablets. You are not suppose to put a lot because it contain clorine in it. Also when you change the water, you are not suppose to chage 100% of the tank. The water only should be only take out by 50%.
Those dissolving tablets can be expensive and unsafe sometime to the fish. The best way to deal with ICK is to buy the water heater and set the temperture to 85%. Give it about two days, ick will go away!
I hope, I answer your question. :)

REMOVE YOUR FISH IMMEDIATELY FROM THE TANK!!
Fix a gallon of fresh water (be sure to remove the chlorine), and put them in a bowl or something.
Then COMPLETELY clean your tank!! Tear it down to the bear bones!
When you're done, refill it and put the fish back in.
Check the package of ick tablets, you may have used it incorrectly OR it may be out dated or something. If you can't find the problem, contact the company.
Then, go to your local pet store and see what they recommend.
GOOD LUCK!!

Put the fish in fresh water immediately, like a fish bowl
Your filter is probably stopped up and u need new carbon.
Good Luck.....fresh houseplants in the bowl may help

take all the fish out if you have any and take out all the water and put in fresh water.if you have a sick fish next time take it out and put it out seperately so the sickness wont spread and then put the medicine in the place where the fish is sick.
