This is my first pet. I know... Shocking. I am out for school at 8:00 and back at 3:00. I am allergic to cats. I can give it some excersise. I don't want a dominaint pet. I just want something that I can hold and have fun with and doesn't need to be cared much for.

She had been ridden in any old saddle and was sore below the back of the saddle - she now has a new good fitting saddle but is still a little sore - slight pain response to firm pressure ie dips very slightly. Is there anything I can do in terms of massage, exercises, creams or gels that might help? (our vet is not a horse specialist and difficult to find one where we live). She has a few small skin lumps also at the site which I presume are from pressure/movement of previous saddle

I think it is so funny that someone could be so obsessed about an issue. That sadistic cat killer lady just couldn't stop herself from posting a comment about my answer. The funny part is that I just posted it to get a rise out of her. Guess what? It worked! Cats rule! And I do keep my cat inside, by the way. Hee hee!

chain my dog up outside when she does something wrong? Today, she chewed up the corners of my rug! It's the 3rd rug she's destroyed! I sprayed her with water the first two times but obviously, it didn't work. She has shade, fresh water (with ice...she likes it), and food. I am just so tired of her destroying my property. I bought her a million chew toys but she continues to chew on my things....and I'm always home so it's not because I neglect her.

If you think putting her outside is okay, how long is enough??
If you think this is wrong, what other options do I have???

Any help would be appreciated!!!

How much does it cost to buy a dog/puppie and per month of raising it...food, toys, veternarian costs(also is the vet covered by your benifits from work) etc.

thanx

I am a pet foster for the SPCA and I have learnt alot about them. I have also found that the majority of the donations to a local SPCA if only going to expand the facility. My problem though is that the should also put a few thousand aside to help people who can't afford the spaying and neutering of there pets. I know of atleast 3 people in my small town alone that has atlease 1 female cat that has not been spayed so they end up having babies every 2 months. I am thinking of starting an organization for people who cannot afford it. So the questions that remain are:

1. Do YOU agree with what the SPCA is doing?

2. Is this a good idea for me to start?

3. What are some idease for what I should sell and what I can do to help spread the word?

Thank you and please answer honestly.

It's not true that cats land on their feet. I threw my neighbors off my roof and it did not land on its feet. It didn't even move after it hit the ground. Who came up with that saying?

Our 5yr old lab mix eats everything she sees outside. She will sometimes eat grass and throw it up, which we have talked to the vet about. But lately it's other stuff too, like other dog's poop. I know there are things to put in your dog's food to prevent them from eating their own feces, but how do you stop them from eating everyone elses! I don't want her to get some horrible disease.

I have a 7month old female golden retriever, and we are gettting her spayed soon and i was just wondering will she change?
like she barks at people who comes by our house and jogs by, and she is very active. and if we spay her will she be the same? because my friend got her dog PJ fixed and he wasnt the same he's just isnt the same, and i wouldnt want my dog to be like that i would like her to be her self because if she changes then it'lll be a little werid, and such.

So if i spayed my dog will her personality and behavior change??

Thanks Shela.
