Peppermint oil mixed in water spray that on the drapes or anywhere else for that matter, they can't stand the smell to it.

Normally, there's not much you can do as far as putting products on things to deter a dog from urinating on them... cats.. then it's a slightly different story. However, is he neutered?? That helps... however, if he's over like 6 or 7 months and is doing this, then it very well may have become a learned behavior.... You're just going to have to teach him that it is NOT okay... and for god sakes, don't leave him unattended until you have him trained... That's just asking for trouble... Crate train him if you have to.

They sell something at the pet store to keep pets away from furniture, etc.

GET YOUR DOG NEUTERED, AND CRATE HIM WHEN YOU ARE NOT HOME, ALL YOU CAN DO IS WASH YOUR DRAPES.
