Denver kill 36 pit bulls seized from a owner who was trying in find a out of state home for her dogs. In this group was a mother and her new bron litter. There was a don't fed order put on them. By the time the court order them put down they were so underfed they would have died anyway. They thought this act of cruelty was ok because they were pit bulls. If they ban another breed, and there is work being done to ban most large breeds, this will keep happening. If this had been done by someone like you or me we would have been sent to jail. This must stop now before we loss the right to have our pets at all. This *** stoped being about pit bulls. All kinds of dog breeds now face the block and we are the only ones to stop the blade.

*I noticed worms in his stool. I immediately called a new vet, made an appointment for 9:30 tomorrow morning (because the old vet said it wasnt necessary to de-worm and now that he has worms, Ive decided screw old vet guy.)

Now, 10 minutes ago, my kitten threw up. Hes still super active and affectionate. Should I wait until 9:30 tomorrow morning or call an emergency vet?

I read somebody's post and she said that it's best to put a 'scared' or abused dog to sleep and put them out of their misery. That is disguisting, she is supposed to be a dog trainer! Are we just supposed to put small children who were abused, to sleep, too?

I have a four month old pup and she wasn't socialized properly when I bought her at three months. I didn't know her former owners, they pretty much pawned her off on me and made me guarantee I wouldn't give her back. Well, once I saw the sweet thing I felt bad for her and knew I could help her so I bought her.

Needless to say, it's been almost a month and she is loyal and trusting to me and my fiance! She still doesn't go near other people but that's okay.

My question is, do we put the less fortunate and unsocialized dogs to sleep? Are they just prize cattle, where only the 'best in show' survive? I don't care if a dog is purebred or not because it's the mutts and the unfortunate ones who need saving from people like me.

ok i was riding my bike and there was a car behind me so i went out of the way and my friends were with me to and then me neighbors to little dogs came running out and started chasing us it was really funny and all but then my friends stopped and the i kept going up the street and then the dogs were still chasung me and i just kept laughing my butt off!it was so funny my friend started to drool and i laughed so hard becuase the dogs were chasing them first

I have a hunch a cat would attack and eat a small snake. Reason: my cat likes to play with snake-like toys, and I also saw (on TV) an African wild cat kill and eat a snake. I'd like to know if my hunch is rignt.

Some one suggested that cats instinctively know which snakes are venenous. I wonder if that is true...

I've had aquariums most of my life and have always use water conditioners to make the water liveable for my fish. But how long would you need to wait if you were to let the chlorine and such discipate naturaly? I've always heard 2 days. If so, does the size of the tank make a diiference?

I have fleas in my apartment. I have no pets but other people in the building do. I have sprayed the apt by myself with no luck and the pest controle also sprayed but i still see them. I heard table salt smothers them and was wondering how long it needs to set in order get them out.

He is twelve month, very very soft, its just when he sees other dogs he goes out of control. He is fairly strong now so it is proving a problem when walking him.
