I used to. Her name was Luna, and she loved to fetch. One of the cats I have now, Star, will do it sometimes, but she has to be in the right mood.

My parents have a cat now who likes to fetch, too.

It just depends on the cat. They either like it or they don't. Some are just quicker to realize that if they bring it too you, you will throw it again, and that means more fun chasing for them.

Yup. Baby Princess. She'll bring back toys and drop them at my feet to throw em again. LOL!

One of mine does. Both Buttercup and Ru used to, but he gradually quit bringing it back. I taught them to do it by using a wadded up piece of foil tied to the end of a string. I threw it and of course they went to play with it. As soon as one picked it up, I gently pulled on the string. They didn't want to let it go, so they walked back with it. Pretty soon they got the hint and I could play fetch without the string.

Of course, Buttercup's a pretty strange cat anyway. She has also figured out that if she paws at the bottom edge of my shirt, I'll let her crawl under it. She's sleeping there now. Makes typing a bit difficult.

I easily have one now it is as annoying and assertive for interest as a canines, follows us everywhere, and is derived even as referred to as. My late Oscar used to sit by the window and commence howling the prompt he heard my automobile contained in the downstairs storage. All my critters (3 dogs and a couple of cats) greet me on the door!

My cat loves it when I throw Marti gras beads across the room. She runs to the other side of the room and carries them back for me to throw.
