Okay, first of all, get a nice clean place to put it. Put a stick leaning on the edge part was in the water, part in the air for it to climb out when ready. Make sure that the water is nice and clean. Make sure it is dechlorinated water you're using. You can use dechlorination drops or let your water sit for at least over night. Don't change all the water in your tank at once. Only change about half and make sure to replace the water with dechlorinated. Now, if you're wondering what to feed it, you can get tadpole food at your nearest pet shop or give them some lettuce. Mine ate fish flakes too. If you have a pond nearby, go ahead and grab some plants from there. When your tadpole starts climbing out of the water, you can feed it some insects. Hope this helps.

put the tadpole in an a fish tank with fresh spring water (you can buy it at the store). Make sure there is an elevated area that it can go when it turns into the frog. You can clean water by sucking it up with a turkey baster, and replenishing the water with fresh spring water. There is frog food that you can buy at the petstore. Follow the directions on the food container to feed it.

Don't keep it outdoors while going through the change. With decreased amount of water to allow for the land the water can get super hot in no time and kill the tadpole. This happened to me.

Just keep it in water but have a mount for it to eventually climb on outside of the water. Also feed it what you would feed a frog
