I have been coming here for a couple of month and it seem just about anytime people mention the breed of their dog its always "Pitbull" so I am wondering if their is some common thread between Pitbull owners and Yahoo answers, or if just its some sort of weird power thing with Pit owners that they feel some sort of need to mention the breed.. I see other breeds mentioned occassionally and usually in reference to a question where knowing the breed is important... but the number of Pitbull dogs in the world seems out of proportion to the number of times they are mentioned here in Yahoo answers.. has anyone else noticed this and finds it odd???

Why do baby ducks drown in water?

I have had my ducks hatch out babies and in a few days we will come out and there will be a baby that has drowned. Why would they drown? The water really is not that deep, and they are swimmers.

What would you do?

I'm moving. My cat is 18 years old. She has always roamed the neighborhood. Not far though. Anyway she really likes the neighbors and they like her. She is so old that she is skin and bones. (i've tried everything to put meat on her bones). Ok the thing is this, I'm afraid she would have a very rough time on the trip with her age and all. My neighbors offered to keep her and she gets along with their cat. So should I take her with me or leave her in the place she has known her whole life? I love her and I want to do what is best for her. I am afraid the trip will make her suffer I don't think she will live more than 6 months to a year she has really gone down hill lately. Thanks for your thoughts in advance.

How do I break it to them got any advice?

I've posted this before I have a possibly fertile chicken egg I've been keeping warm for 7 days I turn it over and candle it. I'm pretty sure its fertile since its dark on the inside and has dark lines in it.

But my problem is I HAVEN'T told my parents or older sister about the egg. I'm concerned that they may make me get rid of it or something before it possibly hatches.

But once it does it probably won't be long before anyone notices a chicken is in the house.

If this egg hatches how do I explain to my folks I've been keeping this a secret?

I need some real advice so please, no jokes. I really want to keep this chick if it hatches.

If your dog kissed you in the mouth would you kiss your grilfriend?

So like i have a friend and she was telling me she was over at her boyfriends house and he was frenchkissing his dog. is my cat ok?

i got sick yesturday from going camping.I didnt want to touch my cat so much until i got better.today when i woke up i notice that my cats nose was not as pink as usueal. her nose seems like a lighter pink color and its a little worm. Im scared to touch her now.she wants me to pet her but im scared to.she acks as she always does.I dont know if i got her sick or thats a cat thing.HELP!!! < need it fast.

Eww Roaches?

Omg! I was sitting in my living room whe this little bug crawled out from under my coach and bam I smacked that muther ****** with my shoe. Then I looked a little closer and I saw it was a frickin roach. A couple minutes later another one falls from my light! WTH. I told my brother and he said it was a Palmetto Bug. Wtf that thing is a roach don't try to make it sound less dsiguisting. I searched it and I found that they are called Surinam roaches. Can anyone give me any information to kill these things. I'm afraid to walk without shoes and I'm so ITCHY

My old dog just passed away, now my young one is blue. How can I make her feel better?

We had our 16 yr old lab put down on Wednesday and our 14 month old lab is moping and searching for her. I've been told by the vet not to spoil her, but I wish she would be a little happier. How long will she grieve?
