Check with an exterminator. You can use all types of stuff from the store..but it takes a professional to get rid of them.If they have any self exterminating stores in your area go there..they have the same chemicals that the professionals use just at a cheaper price.

well, not to alarm you but if you see 1, there's atleast 100 more. So if you have seen 2...then ...do the math.. You're probably infested. You need to start with cleaning your house from top to bottom, getting all food off the floor and swept up...anything sticky on the floor needs to be mopped... no dishes in the sink, and make sure to plug your sinks, as the crawl up sinks , drains and toilets. Flushing one is useless. Ugh. After you get everything cleaned, vacuum religiously. To make sure that any eggs get up off the carpet before hatching. Spray your house down with a fogger, or some type of pesticide, don't use the same one over and over again because the roaches can become use to whatever your using, and it will not be effective any longer. Get some boric acid and mix it with sugar. The roaches love the sugar but ingest the boric acid, then when they clean themselves, it gets in their mouth and since they can't "fart" they litterally blow up. Since roaches are carnivores, other roaches will feed on the dead roach, and so the whole thing starts over again.

If you try all this and still have roaches...

either
1) set your house on fire
2) MOVE.

The stuff that I found that worked the best was Bengal Roach spray to get rid of alot of them quickly. Once you use the spray, Combat roach traps/baits help keep them under control and eventually get rid of them . If you use sprays too much they actually become immune to it.You have to use the baits as directed or they won't work. I think they last for like three months. I even put them under my porch because at night they would come to the porch light. It helped keep them away. I lived in New Orleans so I know all too well about those nasty little critters. They are very hard to get rid of so don't give up! Also make sure you don't leave food or dirty dishes out for them to feed on. Ewwww Now you are making me itch all over. One more thing that helps keep them under control is boric acid. It is a powder that you can put outside & inside as well, along baseboards and inside cabinents, under appliances etc... Be patient because no matter what you use it takes a while for them to disappear. Good luck!!!

Roaches are disgusting. They carry hundreds of diseases. They are also very highly evolved and can survive almost anything. This method is fool proof. I guarantee you it will work. Go to the local pharmacy and buy boric acid-you can get it anywhere Wal-Mart even has it. It is a white powder. Put it in all the places a roach might crawl such as under your couch, behind appliances, under bathroom and kitchen sinks, etc. When they crawl through it, it begins to pull all of the moisture out of their bodies--but it does it slowly, so they have no idea that they have been poisoned. They go back to their nest, and they die. Cockroaches are cannibals. When one dies, the other ones eat it. When they eat the dead roaches, the poison spreads, and you will wipe out the entire population. This is more effective than any sprays and it is very cheap. For every cockroach you see, there are about 500 that you don't. That is why it is important to kill the whole group of them.

contact has a paste that is the only thing that worked for me. I use it every time I move. A couple places I've had including this had roaches and had them bad. The contact comes in a syringe looking container and believe the sprays and other stuff doesn't work. Its also not too expensive. I paid about 6 dollars for it and followed the instructions

They make these things called bug bombs. You go to the store and buy them, then you set one in each room where the roaches are, and then you release the bomb, then you get out of house for several hours, then you come back and clean up dead roaches.

That or smoke like 100 cigarettes back to back, and smoke em out. Worst case scenario, your roaches will get cancer and eventually die.

Move out to the country. With lots of land. There is plenty of room for them to exsist outside. I have 5 acres and the only ones I come across have been outside in the garden. They help mulch the leaves, small branches and grass clippings like earthworms do. Now I need to figure how to keep scorpions out!

Umm that's really gross. I'm sorry, I have no idea how to help. Get them exterminated if they don't lay off you.

Good luck!
