People, this is a trick answer!
If you say the egg, the asker will say, then how did the egg become to be, if it was before the chicken.
If you say the chicken, the asker will say, then how did the chicken become to be, if it was before the egg.
But wait a minute, I think its the chicken, because in the bible. I think it recalls that God created the animals..

Well, Recent studies have shown that the chicken came first as life started with a single cell organism. This was figured by the adaptation they grew to multiple cellular which were mammals. So the correct answer would be "The chicken came before the egg.

The Chicken came the same way man did only chicken style. God created all animals first and gave them the ablity to bare life. So after the chicken was created along with the rooster and other animals, mating took place, an egg was formed, layed, nurtured and hatched.
Chicken was first.

ok EVOLUTIONS SIDE: There would be a diffrent animal not quite a chicken but close that mated with another one of its kind and in that there would be a certain mutation that would give the final qualitys of being a chicken and therefore the chicken would be in the egg that is beign layed on by its parents that are a little bit diffrent that arnt chickens.
CREATION SIDE: The chicken would have to come first because in order for the egg to hatch a chicken must be laying on top of it keeping it warm

In order for the chicken to come (you know what I mean) there would have to be a rooster present to impregnate her so she can lay the egg.......Therefore, The chicken came first (or maybe the same time the rooster came)

this is getting kind of funny cos we keep leaving eachother messages like this, hehe!
im sorry if i hurt you, i knew you wouldnt of taken your bird from the wild and i do think its wrong that these birds are raised in captivity, but its good you keep the cage door open cos i know some people wouldnt bother doing that.
as long as she gets lots of nice food and things to do and fly around the house then its good.

im not religous, but in the bible it says god had noah put the animals on the arc two by twos, god made 2 of eevry animal so they could breed to make more
