I'm thinking about having a Keeshond as a pet but the only thing that i don't know is if it has fur or hair. I want a dog with hair so it doesn't shed.

My dogs one of those who are very gentle in nature. But when I'm away, he just seems bored. I've tried socks and shoes even plastic, but he just leaves it there like it does'nt exist.

Please give ideas...

I have had this female parakeet for 4 years. I got this cute little male blue one about a year after that, and they are always fighting. I'm sick of letting her pick on and beat up on my little blue guy. I would feel way too guilty to let her go - her wings are grown out but she'd never make it out in the open. Any ideas on what should I do? If I give her to a pet store, they'll get mad when they see how she beats up on the other birds.

She's 5yrs old and has had this problem her entire life. We have to put plastic over our furniture, close doors to all the rooms but the cat room, make sure there are no papers/bags/clothes on the floor. Even if the catbox is brand new clean, she still will only poop in it and pee elsewhere. She does not have any illnesses and has always been 100% healthy at the vet. We've used Pinesol and animal urine removal products, but to no avail, she still pees. Any ideas/help?

hello, i have been rasing goats for some time, but i haven't bred any of them yet. however i suspect one of the ones i got in april maybe pregnant. i read the book called how to raise modern dairy goats.. its a green covered book. anyways the person i bought these from had males and females running together. i also thought that goats couldn't go in to heat until it got cold out.. also this is a pygmy goat, she has had two sets of 3 babies in the past for other owner. my question is does anyone know if there is a way to tell if she is expecting.. in the book i read it said that their hips should be caved in by the back end and hip bones, the tail up in air, and not letting other goats eat she is doing all this.. and my opionon is she is really round in the belly area. i tryed feeling her belly to see if i could feel something move but my goat wouldn't sit still for that long. is there any websites that would give me more info.. i also was told to use a HPT to see if she is pregnant.

He is a real sweet gelding, perfect teeth, feet are beautiful, stands for bathing (without cross ties or any rope) great with farrier and vet, takes his wormer like candy. Doesn't kick or bite. Has good confirmation. But he has an edgy side to him and HE WON'T LOAD WITHOUT MAJOR EFFORT. He is an Appendix QH/Registered Paint. Is it the throrough bred in him that makes him quirky? I haven't developed the trust in him that I had with my other Paint. He bucked me off 8 weeks ago and i haven't been on him since...he fell asleep with me in the saddle, stopped to yack with a friend. Am I just needing to get back in the saddle? Is there a chat room for this kind of dumb horsey issue? I'm just an occassional trail rider in FL. and I'm too old to be thrown off too often - after this last time, it took me nearly 3 weeks to get my ribs healed enough to sneeze without mega-pain! My last Paint really spoiled me. BTW, I bought him in October - 8 months ago!

I have just gotten a 2 and half month old lab pitbull mix puppy. He is a very good puppy , except when it comes to putting him outside in the day time by himself. I have a older pitbull mix who needs some time away from him to relax and be a old dog lol. He crys constantly when he is outside by himself. I have tried everything from, spanking him on the butt and saying No! be quite!, from spraying him with water that didnt work...... he loves the water, I even tried putting pennys in a can and making a loud noise and saying his name and be quite! We are moving in a couple of months to the city and I can't have a screaming dog. I don't want to give him away, he is really good when he is not outside by himself. But I can't trust him in the house by himself yet, he is way to young. So if you could please help me out , give me some tips or something I would be so greatful!!

Thanks so much!!

We adopted Snowball a week ago.He is 9 weeks old,and my first cat ever.I have heard that de-clawing is basically amputation. What is your opinion of this common procedure?By the way--at 5 months I will have him neutered, but I am not ever going to have him de-clawed,even though he is an indoor kitty.
