I'm thinking about having a Keeshond as a pet but the only thing that i don't know is if it has fur or hair. I want a dog with hair so it doesn't shed.

Most dogs have fur and those that have fur WILL shed and shedding can be anywhere from minimal to excessive depending on the breed.
As for Keeshonden, they really don't shed at least not like a Lab or German Shpherd. Instead, they blow their coats once or twice a year (usually in the fall and in the spring). When they blow you WILL get a lot of hair, but I've always found it to be quite manageable. When they don't blow the hair clumps and you can pick it off like cotton.

The keeshond has hair. Dogs have hair. The difference between hair and fur is - hair continues to grow and shed. Fur grows to a predetermined length as per DNA and stops growing. Yes fur is also shed.
If you have allergies or just want a dog that sheds very little for other reasons a little research on hypoallergenic dog breeds should prove useful.

ALL dogs shed, at least a little. I don't think it matters what you call it: fur or hair, the fact is Keeshonds have a lot of it and it's a pain to clean and take care of. They're more high maintenance in the hair/fur department than say a regular short-haired dog would be (i.e. a lab). You could look up more information on www.dogbreedinfo.com if you like.

All dogs have hair. A Keeshond has a thick layer of undercoat which will shed out twice a year. Not the breed for you if you don't want shedding. Don't know what your lifestyle is like - there are a lot worse things than shedding if you pick the wrong breed!
These breeds don't shed, but require more than average grooming time to keep them from matting up:
Poodle - Standard, Miniature, or Toy
Schnauzer - Standard or Miniature
Portugese Water Dog
Afghan Hound
(Remember: Toy dogs can be yappy, nippy and hard to housebreak!)
Yorkie, Silky Terrier, Maltese, Shih Tzu, Lhasa Apso
(Remember: Terriers can be high-energy, aggressive and hard to train)
Norwich or Norfolk Terrier, Border Terrier, Kerry Blue Terrier, Wire Fox Terrier, Airedale

You better get a hairless breed then.
Contact the Keeshond parent club and ask them - but it is a coated breed and therefore will shed.

all dogs have fur and all dogs shed, just like all people shed.
short haired dogs, on average, shed less than long haired dogs.
any way you go, you'll have to deal with dog fuzz...as we called it around my house growing up.
if you keep up with grooming and brush a minimum of once a week, that keeps the "fuzz" down to a minimum
