I raise Am. Pit Bulls and they stay in heat for about 2 weeks. They can get a mite agressive while in heat so you may want 2 keep her away from all dogs but the one you want 2 breed her with.

It doesn't really matter the breed, they all pretty much stay in heat for the same amount of time. She will bleed for about 1 - 2 weeks give or take a few days, and then she will be fertile for about 4 days after she stops bleeding.
