It's breed is pekingese.it is quite small.I'm gentle on it but i don't know why it hates me!

I have a 6wk old kitten. I tried giving her soft food with hard food next to it, she would eat the soft food but not touch the hard food. so i mixed it, and now she eats it all. Is it ok to keep mixing her food like this even when she gets older? If not what age should i take her off of the soft food?

We got her from the Animal Shelter two years ago, full grown, already had 8 pupies. The dog in our household makes it really difficult to invite over guests b/c she immediately sees them as a threat and jumps all over them and barks. When we walk the dog and we see one we yell "dog!" b/c it's become a stressful encounter for us too, not just her. It's crazy b/c she has some really close dog friends (a girl and a boy) that she is totally the boss of. She loves them and she is always so excited to see them. I wish it was like that for every dog. Any ideas?

I have a very skinny lactating female with 7 kittens which are 3 days old.
Shes a very doting mother and i'm trying to feed her her favorite tinned food with milk replacer power in it but shes hardly eating!!
Shes always been a fussy eater and always not eaten a lot, but she has to now!!
Anyone got any tips on what i could do??

He runs around the house acting crazy, there are too many dogs and other cats in my neighborhood, I can't afford to buy him an outside tunnel, but my husband may be able to build him one. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do that??

I've heard that when dogs get older some of them can go crazy or "turn". Well she isn't being aggressive towards me, or my family, but she is starting to nip at my younger dog. She used to be a good guard dog, and whenever someone was home she would know, and she would bark, but now she barks at EVERYTHING, she hears someone put something down on the table hard, thinks it's a knock and starts barking, hears someone close a door, she starts barking. She has just been acting really weird lately, moody and she just barks at everything!!! Is she going crazy in her old age??? She's only 10, but our vet said she is aging very quickly.... and she is slowly going blind, I feel so bad :( I don't know what to do for her. She can still see, I just don't think very well. What can we do about her barking? (p.s. I am not getting a shock collar.)

first and the one thats 2 killed hers two days after the first one. i think they did that cause the puppies was mixed breedes.And the one that is 2 ,had puppyies before but they was full blooded which means they was 100% boxer.she had 10 puppies her paws were full.but why do u think they killed them this time.?

note:the first set of puppies was full and the second was mixed.

My cat (a Blue Cream Persian) went in to labor yesterday. She had one kitten last night at 7:15. It is very small, probably about 4 inches long. Not much fur. I can see kittens moving around inside Mom's belly, but it has been 14 hours, and no hard labor, no heavy breathing and no pushing. Is she OK?

I did call my vet's emergency service, and they said it can take 2-3 days sometimes for a cat to have all the kittens, but I feel that to be dangerous for the momma cat. This IS her first litter. She was NOT bred on her first heat, but rather her 4th.

Anyone out there that knows anything about this? Serious answers only please.

my husband and i would like a freshwater aquarium (maybe 30-40 gallon) and we're guessing it might cost us about $300 to get it started up.
we're thinking about $200 for the tank and stand (pretty big tank)and then $100 for the supplies and starter fish.

anyone with experience with freshwater tanks that might be able to shed some light on this???

Hello, I'm a bit concerned after reading reviews on some of these products that they may be dangerous.Some peoples cats have had violent reactions to these treatments and some have even been hospitalized. Also,many of them say that they don't work anyway......I'm in the UK so any help would me much appreciated before I buy one of these products. Is it better to just get them from a vet and do flea collars work?......lot's of questions but it is a concern.Thank you.
