Make sure she has plenty of food available all the time, don't put her on any kind of regimen. Also you could try feeding her kitten food, that will help to replace the calories that she's losing while the kittens are nursing. You can't make her eat but making sure she has plenty available will do her the best, she'll eat when she's hungry.
Oh, try not to change the brand of food that you feed drastically, make it a slow transition (going from adult food to kitten food). If you change too quickly you risk causing her to have diarrhea which would be really hard on her system right now.

7 KITTENS??? WOW! She certainly needs her calories. Most vets recommend feeding a queen (what you call a nursing cat) kitten food. Kitten food is higher in calories than adult cat food. If you can find a kitten food that she likes and eats, she will be getting the extra calories to help her produce milk. Also, bear in mind that after delivering 7 kittens, that is one pooped mama-cat! She is probably totally exhausted and may even be too tired to get up and eat, but please make sure she does. I suggest you get some plain chicken baby food. Get the premium brand that doesn't have added salt, sugar & preservatives. You just want plain ground chicken. I've never known a cat that didn't go bonkers for chicken baby food. If you place some on her other food, it will entice her to eat it. Bring the food to her so she doesn't have to go too far to get to it. Like I said, she's really tired. Good Luck!

I have no idea the connection with the being pregnant hee however consuming alot of water, peeing are by and large the indicators if ikabetes (learn my profile) or kidney sickness. For one, you're feeding ry meals which regardless what a vet says are not any nos and the quantity one million purpose of diabetes as a result of carb content material. If that is the case, it is rather treatable and a cat can reside a norm al lengthy completely happy existence. If you fin out I am correct, you're welcome to touch me as many vets aren't updated on healing for this Best of good fortune

Feed her all the kitten food she will consume.
Also they make a paste suppliment called Nutri-Cal
it has lots of vitamins and loaded with calories for animals that are either sick or under nourished.
It works wonderfully and is great for nursing moms.
