this is usually just a phase. all of mine did that and as mean and sick as this may sound i bit them back on the ear not hard but hard enough for them to learn to stop biting and yes it worked.
just bite it like a nibble. you dont want the cat to be hurt and you dont want to be hurt.

You didn't give too many details; age of cat, what does "running her crazy" mean, etc.?
First, animals like people, have different personalities. Do you give your cat space (peace and quiet), do you provide love, care, kindness? Does she feel threatened by you or anyone in the house for some reason?
Cats bite out of fear, being threatened, past abuse, and sometimes they do "love bites" where they don't break skin. I was told love bites are affectionate, my cat does them sometimes and I thought it was rather funny.
You need to win your cats trust back, obviously, something is wrong.

If you think your running her crazy back off. Cats have a right to their own space and sport. Biting can be a sign of affection but also one of annoyance too. A cat owner has to become sensitive to his particular cats needs and running them crazy isnt one of them, if you have kids screwing with her all the time tell them to back off too. People who let their kids do whatever they want to animals are not top of the list of God's favorite people. Trust and believe that.

When I had my cats they bit me because they missed me and wanted my attention. So when I gave them the attention they wanted they stopped biting me. It is also a phase they go through depending on their age. They most of the don't mean to bit to hurt you. They just want attention.

my answer will be double sided.. first off if your cat is not fixed, he/she will bite when in heat for a female and looking for some if a male cat, the best thing to do is get the cat fixed and that way it will not nipe as much... If your cat is fixed it might be his/her way of saying I've had enough leave me alone... hope this helps

Cats will bite as a way of showing effection or showing that they want to play. If you are teasing her or if you are touching her paws or her belly she may be telling you to stop it. :0P My kitties will bite the backs of my legs if I don't pay attention to them or if they need something to eat.

Maybe she wants to play. My cats do it but they don't bite to hurt, just to play.
