Where can I read more about the story? I heard about it on the radio, but have not been able to find it in the newspapers. And please don't tell me it didn't happen or attack me for mentioning this unpleasant story. I have said nothing racist. Just help me find a printed account of the scenario. Thanks a lot. This is not a philosophical question, but a serious one. I know some consider their jobs slavery, but does real slavery exist today. Are people still sold at auctions and worked hard. I know sexual slavery exists in parts of the world, but does it go beyond that.

I purchased an item from IKEA just yesterday, thinking ok I know it's not Australian owned, I can handle the money going to Sweden, I got home and just happened to look at the packaging, "From the Peoples Republic of CHINA"
How does that happen?

I have a feeling that the Chinese are just getting even with us for barring their filthy products from entering the U.S. I am now going out of the way to boycott any product that I know to be of Chines origin and believe me it is very difficult. With the trade imbalance between the U.S. and China growing month by month it is my belief that the Chinese ultimately have more to lose if every American followed suit!
