The way I've been hearing it is that prisons are getting worse and worse. I don't know the statistics, but I know a lot that go to prison return in one way or another. And I don't want to go into the race and gender issue of this, but that in itself is not cool.

He was such an idiot to make fun of this weather commercial from Oklahoma. Gary England saves lives; Jon Stewart is a clown and not even a funny one.

People elsewhere don't understand that Oklahoma weather is crazy and we take it seriously. Not like those foolish people in New Orleans who didn't protect their families from the hurricane.

Imus is forced to resign when he calls the Rutgers' women's basketball team "nappy-headed ho's." Fine - the public should not tolerate such incendiary comments. Most moslems agree that Al Queda is not a typical form of Islam. Why not toss it away from Islam and label it a cult? There have been many Christian groups which have been labeled this way. Shouldn't the media do this?

It would be a good way to set the people in Al Queda aside. Why let a cult tarnish the whole religion?

The Jim Jones group and the Wako, Texas groups were labeled 'cults' if I remember right. There must be others who were labeled this way too. If there were Christians acting the way Al Queda has, wouldn't the media and political leaders call that group a cult?

It's time to start calling Al Queda what it really is.
