In last Friday's (25/5) interviews, the McCanns were given a very easy time by the interviewers. Does anyone know whether the questions had to be agreed in advance with their lawyers and spin doctors? The BBC have so far failed to respond to my questions.
Also, why was one of the first things the McCanns did to hire these lawyers and media advisors, rather than people who could actually help in the search for Madeleine, such as private investigators, who Gerry McCann says aren't even 'on the agenda'? Very early on, uncle John McCann said one reason for wanting donations was to pay for mounting legal bills, which immediately aroused my suspicions. Lawyers and media advisors are normally only hired on this scale if people have something to hide.
