so why do we always get a shock when we read horrible stories in the papers?
Surely we have gotten enough news to realise what human nature is capable of?
What are your thoughts on this?

I have read that a lot of mystical and unexplainable things happen to people who travel over or through the Bermuda Triangle via boats and airplanes. Have any of you ever traveled over or through the Bermuda Triangle? If yes, how were you and your vehicle affected by that Bermuda Triangle?

I think it is OUTRAGEOUS that these so called "trained guides" do not know when someone is very close to death and do not know when to give a person like Dave Buschow water.

These guides must not have any medical training, or if they do they don't know enough.

I hope they discontinue their program and either spend time in jail, or get sued heavily for their bad judgement.

he only thing I found interesting about this was that this has only happened twice and hasnt happened in more then 40 years that a tropical storm of anykind developed in the Indian Ocean.. Further more Hurricane Gonu was at 165 mph yesterday,Currently is at 150 mph and 100 miles away from Iran.. will probably hit as a weak Cat 4 hurricane.. thats stronger then Katrina.. know this has broken a past record in that region by a good 50 mph.. we all know our forces were down in that water a couple weaks ago doing war games.. does any one think there is something to this weather war fare.

All I did see is that they left their children alone or something? I tried to look up the website I don't know if it was the right family, (family of 6). I also seen something about some sort of scam on yahoo answers. Are they mormons? I would even love a good site to go to read about the story.

Did anyone else read in the news that another Holocaust diary has emerged, one from a 14 year old Polish girl named Rutka Laskier? For all the inhospitable and horrible things people do to one another even today, it really bothered me to read some of the things detailed in that diary. I guess evil has been raising its ugly head for many years.

So my question is this: People of the day turned a blind eye to those Nazi butchers and allowed the horrors to continue. Have we learned our lessons, and what things can/should we do as common people to keep this type of evil from gaining a foothold again on humanity?

Anyone that thinks that what these parents did could be construed as child neglect (going out for a bite to eat only 50 yards away in a safe family resort and checking on them on a regular basis) is either completely delusional, insane or hypocritical.

If so, I know lots of people who are guilty of child neglect every time they go into their garden for a sunbathe or to hang out the washing when their kids are inside or even when they sleep at night and leave their children in another room.

Completely ludicrous accusations.

I know this has nothing to do with this subject or anything. But this is very serious and needs to be out there and I realized a lot of people really read this stuff...And this about a baby so it's related. I dont want no critizism from this and i DO NOT know the family but do know the story. All i can say guys is PRAY! ok to the story:

It's about a little 6 month old baby boy (Kaleb) who was shaken surverly and it caused some MAJOR damage and little man needs all the prayers he can get. He's a fighter but he still needs God! So all I can say guys is PRAY!!! No one realizes how bad this can hurt a child but this little boy is a prime example! PRAY and Continue praying.

and, hopefully, when maddie is found and returned to her parents, will they, for the 3 children's satbility and happiness give them privacy and, peace which the kids deserve or, will they, as they have vowed demand the kids be taken into care therefore destroying any chance of these kids growing up together as one happy family.

I know that it is a plain and simple question i would just like to hear what people think.
I think that we forsure needed to go to war. I mean they killed thousands of Americans on American soil! And it bugs me how in the days and months after 9/11 everyone was all for the war but now you want to pull out. We cant leave without finishing the job first and we havent done that yet.

For all those who were offended by my original question. Mr McCann has been in the news considerably more than twice and is never perturbed. You are all sucked in by team mccann but cant see it. try to think for yourself and ask yourself this. Is this the only missing child out there? really? think about it. Are you so concerned for the millions , yes millions of others in the world. No?. Perhaps that is because their less fortunate parents cant afford a media circus. This case is no more traumatic than the hundreds of cases of need we see on comic relief ONCE a year. Why should these people deserve round the clock coverage. Why should hundreds of thousands of pounds be donated to them instead of helping millions in Africa. This is one girl, one case and it is their own fault. That is harsh but it is true. If we give every instance of child abduction this kind of coverage, their would be nothing else on T.V. Thousands will die in Africa this week, but dont worry. It'll not be on TV

I think that it is time that the police seriously investigated the possibility that Mr McCann set this whole thing up as a money making exploit, with or without the knowledge of his wife. These parents do not know if their daughter has been beaten, raped, starved or killed.

The pain they are going through is unimaginable, truly hell on earth.

The thought of the story just fading away into the background fills me with a sense of panic so I cannot imagine what it would be like for the parents which is why they are trying to publicise the case.

They do not want people to forget their little girl.

They just want her back.

How can you be so heartless?

How can you be so cynical?
