I think it is funny as h e l l that she has to do jail time. Just because you have money shouldn't mean that you can do whatever you want and not have to pay the consequences if you break the rules. Her saying her agent said she could drive for certain things is such B***S***. She just figured she could get away with it.

Sent to jail? That is a joke. She has been sent to Lynwood, Los Angeles. She has been given a single cell - although it is normally two to a cell - to keep her away from the hoy palloy.
She arrived there with all the ceremony of an Oscar presentation. Everything but the red carpet.
And instead of 40+ days, she is now doing 23 days.
If I was caught drinking and driving. Then ignored the driving ban. Then broke Probation and flaunted the law, I think I could expect a lot more than that.
So any talk about Hilton and prison is just the publicity that a little rich girl with no talent for anything needs to keep her name up front.

UGH enough about this woman!!! She did not get enough time and she is not like everyone else in jail. She is still getting special treatment. She is not even in general population. Who cares. I do not see all the other thousands of people in jail being made such a big deal of. I swear I will never agian even stay on a Hilton Hotel. She is nothing but an over rated and whiney B

i'm questioning it would desire to be some variety of exposure stunt for something. i prefer to understand why no longer something grow to be finished while her chum Nicole Ritchie wasn't arrested and sent to penal complex while she grow to be using down the line on the incorrect area mutually as severe and hopped up on marijuana and vicodin. She even admitted she grow to be and not something grow to be finished. think of if that grow to be all people else outdoors of celebrity status. Our lives could be ruined and in all risk spend the greater helpful a million/2 of it in penal complex. this is insane, i wish this penal complex sentence isn't purely a exposure stunt and a real 40 5 days in a real penal complex and he or she is taken care of like each and every the different inmates.

dont get mr wrong..i LOVE paris.
like she is one of me icons.
but she did do alot of ilegal things in the past she never got in trouble for...and now this...
she needs to do it.
but this is what she said.
"I am ready to face the consequences of violating probation. During the past few weeks, I have had a lot of time to think and have come to realize I made some mistakes. This is an important point in my life and I need to take responsibility for my actions. In the future, I plan on taking more of an active role in the decisions I make. I want to thank my family, friends and fans for their continued support. Although I am scared, I am ready to begin my jail sentence"
and also this....
"I did have a choice to go to a pay jail, but I declined because I feel like the media portrays me in a way that I'm not and that's why I wanted to go to county, to show that I can do it and I'm going to be treated like everyone else. I'm going to do the time, I'm going to do it the right way."
So i think she is doing good for herself.

Needs the time regular people would get (her initial sentence wasn't even as much time as we'd get) and to be put into the general populace. What kind of BS was that about the prisons being too full so her sentence was getting shortened? Please, if she hadn't been who she is, they would have certainly found a prison for her. And if she hadn't been a celebrity, she'd have been put into the general populace of the prison rather than celeb jail.
And her claims of learning her leason, don't you believe them. She already thought she was above normal people that the laws which apply to us don't apply to her. This just reinforces that view for her.

She did the crime, so she should have to pay the time just like everyone els in society. She may be famous, but she should be treated like a normal person.

She should have more time, with all of the inmates, not a place just for high-profile people. She also needs a greater fine than 1,500$. She's gotten off of things too much and needs to pay. She is not a role model. She is a pest.

Does it really matter? We are facing a time when celebrities get more media coverage by their wrong or illegal activities than those that abide by the law.
Maybe I'll remind you that young men and women are fighting and dying in two wars - Iraq and Afghanistan.

Who cares, honestly?
She's only famous for being famous. It doesn't matter who the hell you are, how much money you have, what your last name is or whatever. Like you said, if you do the crime, you do the time.
But, most likely she'll get released early on "good behavior" or some bull like that.
It's just giving her more press, so whatever.
